Jake glanced in each direction as he climbed over and under thorns to try his best at not getting pricked by them. "It's almost like a dog, but much more hostile. Big and orange in color, with lots of sharp teeth. They hate cats, and sometimes... Well... They eat kittens." He said, his tone one of nervousness and disgust as he finished his sentence. He jumped over the last part of the bramble, then went on following the scents that reached his nose. "She should be just up ahead. Her scent's much stronger now." He said as his piercing green eyes scanned the trees for a sigh of Hawky. His tail was lashing back and fourth quickly. He wanted to get Cloud and Hawky out of thispart of the forest before they met up with this kit killing fox.

Hawky growled and crouched, baring her fangs at the fox. It roared and attacked, and with a sharp squeal Hawky sprung to one side, dodging it by a heart-beat. Heart pumping, she did a quick blow to it's nose.
Great Spirits, help me!

Cloud's ears twisted forward. "I hear her! We have to hurry! It...it sounds like she's in trouble," Cloud hissed and ran forward.

(im on my phone so this post wont be color coded hehe sorry). Jake's eyes widened slightly as a distant cry reached his ears. "Lets go. I think Hawkey's already met up with our fox friend." He said, claws digging into the earth as he broke into a full sprint across the forest. When he saw the young she-cat fighting the fix, he yowled loudly to get both their attentions. "Hawkey, out of the way, they like fighting, dont fight it! Run! You and Cloud, get out of here!" He said as he ran under the foxes paws and hissed angrily, drawing it away as the two circled eachother. 'Parker, Vincent... You two better be close by...' he thought as he snarled at the lunging fox. Luckily for them, the sound of distant growls and racing paws was traveling through the trees.

Hawky narrowed her eyes. "Never! If I can't fight it, you can't!" She leaped up on the fox's back, snarling madly, and clawed clumps of fur off of it's back. Blood leaked out. Smiling with triumph, she continued this process.
