I went through a lot of designs, but I just stuck with three things: a species, a color palette, and a theme!

Personally I just found a color scheme I liked, I already knew I wanted a wolf, and then threw design elements together... and tweaked them... tweaked them... fixed them... played with it for awhile until one finally stuck.

You wouldn't believe how many Fursonas I've been through, eventually I choose my Favourite Animal the Spotted Hyena and went with a theme Grunge/Punk over the years he's definitely changed and actually just today I came across his Concept Art again what a change!
