Quinton looked at her and said, “I didn’t know.” He returned the lick to her shoulder and said softly, “I... I think I do as well. I’ve never felt something like this before, except with Vixen. You know we can’t be together with you living in the Clan and me living in a barn. Besides, you can’t have a mate and kits, but maybe you don’t have to have your clan know about it. Maybe we can meet up at night or something like that.”

The mostly white calico kitten, whose eyes would be light blue and green, squeaked. He stopped nursing and fell asleep.

The fun loving and kind orange eyed kit looked around a bit. She flicked a brown striped tail, and purred a bit, then said "Yeah."
