Quinton looked over to her and said, “I’m from a barn a little bit away from the Twolegplace if you know where that is. I live there by myself, but a few cats visit me from time to time like Echo and Richard, my two best friends. I used to have a cat that lived there named Walli, but we had a fight not to long ago and he... he...” he choked up as he thought of his best friend since he was a kit. Walli was a cat he trusted and first introduced him to Vixen. He continued taking a deep breath through his tight chest, “He left the barn to search for a new place to live. I’ve tracked him towards the Twolegplace, it I was to scared to look for him because of all the angry rouges in the Twolegplace. I was also afraid that he would yell at me again and we would fight again.

I nodded "I'm sorry about your friend" I looked at the ground embarrassed "I have a place where you can stay for the night if you don't want to go so far back to your barn "I looked back up at him "would you like me to show you?"

Quinton nods and says, “Yes thank you. If you wanna show me at least.” He looked at her and said rather sheepishly, “Would you maybe like to stay with me a little more before you have to go back to your Clan?” He said giving her a smile, “Thakn you for your kindness Lilybreeze. I’ll have to repay you sometime.”

She turned to look at the entrance and her eyes were bright. The tabby kit on Ravenleaf’s kit was her’s. IT was FERN! She raced over and said with a bright look in her eyes, “Fern? Is it you?!”

"I would love to stay with you a little while longer before I go back" I purred. I hadn't felt this feeling since Roger had died. "follow me" I started walking towards a large berry bush that I had found a while ago that I had used to get away from the clan from time to time. Its berries hid my scent and its branches hid me. I jumped over the small stream that ran next to the bush and looked back to make sure Quinton was still following. I then pushed through the branches of the berry bush and waited for Quinton to join me. The inside of the bush was hollow, so it was very large on the inside

The sweet and gentle she cat purred as she blinked blue eyes. The stubborn and wild dilute calico smiled as she nodded to him. She smiled and purred as she just licked him then.

The mostly white calico kitten, whose eyes would be light blue and green, squeaked. He stopped nursing and fell asleep.

The fun loving and kind orange eyed kit looked around a bit. She flicked a brown striped tail, and purred a bit, then said "Yeah."

IT’s a perfect place to lay undetected.” He smiled and he laid down, patting his tail on the ground next to him in a friendly way, hoping she understood his meaning.
