“Momma! Help!” A wail cuts through the main cave “Hurricanekits trying to drown me!” Floodkit added, flailing around in the water as his brother stood a bit closer to the edge, looking guiltily at him. Whiskersnow sighs, shaking her head before picking up Floodkit to move him back to water he could fully stand on.
“Hurricanekit didn’t try to drown you,” Sparrowpaw says, the apprentice standing up to her belly in the water after having offered to help “he just splashed some water on you and you jumped further into the water and panicked.” Floodkit just looks between his two siblings before letting out a whine and moving closer to their mother.
“Are you sure I can’t do anything?” Boulderstripe speaks, standing just out of the water. “It’s fine love, the kits are just being dramatic. Come on dears, let’s go a bit deeper.”
Boulderstripe sits, watching as his family made the way into the deeper part of the pool to help teach the youngest to swim, upset that he wasn’t able to be there. He had been banned from doing anything other than just sitting around the caves after he had caught a small cold from being out in the rain. All the sitting around had been making him antsy, wanting to do something but being unable to. So he just stays there, watching his youngest two begin to swim.

Off to the side, Foxfire and Cherryberry sat next to each other in a corner of the cave, the new mates smiling as they talked. Cherryberry let’s out a small laugh as she watches the kits play in the water “aren’t they just so adorable?” She asks, to which Foxfire shrugs “yeah, I guess they are a bit cute.” Cherryberry presses further into her mates side “I hope we can have kits in the future” she says. Foxfire tilts her head, not completely sure if she did or didn’t want kits, but if it would make her mate happy she would gladly raise a few with her.
Sharkmask, a new member that Foxfire had helped find, approaches the couple. “I couldn’t help to overhear that you two would like kits, and if you’d like I could help with that.” He offers. Cherryberrys eyes light up and she looks to her mate who just smiles at her with a nod. “Yes, thank you!” Cherryberry exclaims happily.
Foxfire let’s put a small purr upon hearing Cherryberrys excitement before looking at Sharkmask “so, do you have anyone you’re interested in?” She asks, causing him to look away embarrassed “er- maybe Stormstrike?” He says “b-but Id like to get to know him more.” Foxfire smirks “don’t worry, Stormstrikes a great dude, I’m sure you two would be happy if he likes you too” Sharkmask smiles and nods. At that moment, Stormstrike enters the cave, calling out to everyone.
“Sharkmask, Foxfire I’d like you two to go with Eelstar to the border then check the left border on your way back. Cherryberry and Amberstone, you two can go on a hunting patrol.” He speaks “Sparrowpaw, we’re also going to be going training” as everyone gets ready to leave, Whiskersnow approaches the deputy. “I would like to join the hunting patrol, Boulderstripes staying to look after the kits.” Stormstrike nods “ok, have fun” he says with a smile before leading his apprentice out of the cave.

CascadeClan shelters in a small, lush, fertile river-valley centered around a pond. The weather is mostly warm, moist, and humid. A farm can be found on the hill northwest of Cascade known as the Ryefields. Wheat is grown there and it makes the perfect hunting ground. To the east of Cascade is a jungle filled with exotic creatures known as the Wildcries. It's rumored that another Clan lives deep in the tropics, but no cat of Cascade has ever met one of theirs. The jungle is the second hunting ground, but only skilled cats can go in there, as the Wildcries are a very dangerous place. Cats of Cascade also fish in the pond. However, it will easily flood during the rain. Cascade cats' dens are out in the open. They sleep in nests made of lush grass. All cats sleep in the same area regardless of rank. However, sick cats sometimes stay at the farm. Cascade cats can be found in all colors, though some are less common than others. Grey and black-furred felines are seen often, with russet coming in as a close second. Brown is significantly rarer for whatever reason, as is cream. Solid white is much more common than partially white, though these felines rank in between greys and brown, and of course, only shorthaired cats or naive, pampered, or lost kittypets dare to venture in the wilds near the equator.
