The rabbit was his favorite prey. It was fairly easy for him to catch; he was always fast when he was younger. Which his mother always praised about his speed. But now...he didn't know how to be happy or even grateful. He was cold and hostile for no reason to cats that had nothing to do with his past. His amber eyes looked at the apprentices before He stiffened his body. Giving himself a few confident licks. He didn't want to speak because he felt if he did he'd say something he'd regret. He, himself, was stuck in the past. Especially with the way he knows his mother, she can be loving and nice but she's just stuck on her past mate. So he shrugged off the thoughts before lowering his head to his paws. But his tail flicked. He couldn't stop thinking of what could've happened to keep his father alive. He could've saved his father. But he was terrified of the two cats fighting than his mother blamed him for being a coward which he argued with her then that's when they became distant from each other.
"You're not really annoying at all..." He told the one, his amber eyes glistening lightly while he shifted his weight uneasily.

Her green eyes stared at the ground. But she shook her head, returning to groom herself while she licked her chest. Smoothing out her bristling fur. Only getting madder at herself for abandoning Badgerpaw when he was about to become an apprentice. The death of her mate just annoyed her; Why couldn't it been her, instead of her mate. She huffed lightly before she watched the other cats. Making sure she didn't butt into anything. Unless she was spoken to. But she usually sat, keeping to herself.

He growled lowly, making sure the tom would leave. Which happened after his last sentence. But what he said did haunt him...What if they'd do better in a clan...Maybe the clan needs some experience fighters...Maybe not....He'll see how Xeno does in the clan before he drags his family into a clan...His eyes narrowed before he looked at Accalia and his kits.
"We'll see how he does first before we join." He huffed while he gave Accalia a nuzzle on her cheek before he gave his sons licks on the forehead.

"I wouldn't hurt this beautiful she-cat along with the kits," He began, his claws unsheathing while his tail lashed, "I'm not that heartless, You know that Warren." His teeth glimmered when he growled. His ears pinning back, his eyes narrowing to slits. His black fur fluffed out with annoyance. "I was simply coming to see if you'd join a clan with me...? Guess not...That's a shame." He huffed while he turned, walking in the direction of the clan territory but he had to stop because of two adult cats and a kit...He'd probably get caught by them. His scent was going downwind to them.
