Lotus' Story & Worldview: lotus could only feel the chill of the sea breeze whipping through her pelt as she stood at the bow, her head extended over the edge of the boat. she let out a gentle sigh as the screams and shouts of the twolegs reached her, and she let out a purr of amusement as one younger twoleg fell onto his rear. she padded up to him and rubbed her head along his thigh, but he pushed her away roughly. confused, she reared onto her hind legs to get closer to his face. usually so kind, the kit shrieked and pushed her harder as she noticed a small lump in his pelts. she could smell the strong scent of cat, and she let out a yowl of confusion. she pawed at the now wriggling lump, and a cat’s head poked out from the pelts. “help me! my kits!” she sobbed, and lotus let out a sharp cry of terror. the milky scent of the nursery overwhelmed her suddenly, and she scratched viciously at the young twoleg who had stolen her. the boat had docked sunrises ago, and there was no telling when they would dock. lotus hissed until the mother cat was let go, and she wrapped her tail protectively around her. the twolegs she had so loved and respected were nothing but thieving scoundrels. she would never trust them again. she knew that as soon as the boat docked, she would disembark and never turn back. she only hoped the female she had rescued would accompany her, as she wanted to do anything in her power to make up for the twolegs ripping her from her family. lotus only wondered if she was up for such a daunting task.

The gathering has started and the Clans have quickly fallen into their usual groups, sometimes drifting away to interact with new cats. As the Clans started to settle down and get ready for the leader announcements, a group of strange cats prowled into the dimly lit clearing. The Clans were startled and awed by the beautiful and handsome cats that surveyed them all closely. The strangers caught wind of the large gathering and have decided to make their way into the crowd to mingle. They don't seem interested in much more than a fling, with quite a few of the strangers having already disappeared into the night when the conversations shared became too serious.

At every gathering, there will be a group of studs (male and female) for Clans to breed their cats with!

★ Each stud will have a maximum of 3 slots and each slot will be fcfs. You may get TWO breeding slots for the entire gathering. HOWEVER, you need to post for posts to get a second slot. If you sign up for more than two slots and don't meet the required amount of posts, you will be disqualified and your slots will open back up.

★ You must have a minimum of TWO gathering posts to be eligible to post for a breeding slot. (Unless otherwise stated in mod's stud post) For a second slot, you will need to post double what the stud's first slot requirement was in addition (i.e. if the first slot was 2, then you must now have 4 more posts to get a second slot -- 6 in total )

★ To enter for a slot, you will need to fill out the form included with each cat.

★ As usual, you will need to post in your next post that your cat is trying for kits with one of the studs. The queens will give birth in the normal amount of time. For Clans that stud with a female stud, you will receive the kittens three posts after you put in your post that your tom tried for kits with her. You will need to have a queen in your Clan to take care of the kits from a female stud.

★ If you want to breed a same-sex couple with one of the studs, you will need to state which cat in the couple will be bred.

★ NONE of the studs will be going to a Clan. After the gathering, they will be "retired" and may be used again at a later gathering.

★Each stud will have their own individual form.

Heathcliff flicked an ear nervously as he approached the hollow where those strange Clan cats used. The young tom knew that none of the warriors would harm him, but he couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed regardless.

Outgoing and talkative, Venom has no problem making friends at this gathering. Though he already knows he's going to melt into the shadows, disappear as soon as he gets the chance, Venom is learning a lot about how clans work. Gathering information, if you will. Learning. The pursuit of knowledge is Venom's favorite thing, so he will talk away. He says some strange thing about superheroes and supervillains... maybe some cats can strike up a conversation about that.
