Ashlight whirled around, dropping Ivorykit and scratching Bramblewind on the face. "Get away from me!" She snarled. Ashlight threw the kit off of her, jumping on Bramblewind. "Die old cat!" She bit into his neck.

Badgerkit I Bramblewind Cloverkit Ivorykit Ashlight
Badgerkit yelped as he saw his father get bit. He rushed in front of him. "Please! You can do what you want to me, just leave my father and sisters alone!" Badgerkit begged Ashlight. He knew that any outcome would not end well, so he might as well try and save his family.

Bramblewind:

I kicked out at Badgerkit with my back paw to push him away. I gagged as Ashlight bit into my neck. I tried to bat at her with my front paws but failed.

The she-cat woke up and realized that Bramblewind was out of the camp. That would not have typically concerned her,l; however, she knew that kits were missing and there were murderers loose in the forest. She quickly got up and began to follow his scent towards where he was. Willowsplash was greeted by a gruesome sight, her mentor's neck in Ashlight's jaw. "No!" She leaped over and landed on top of Ashlight, digging her claws into one of her eyes so the killer would stop.

Bramblewind:

I watched helplessly as WIllowsplash attacked Ashlight. I saw starry figures glimmer in the corner of my eye No. I have to see Tanglefur again I blinked the figures away and tried to help Willowsplash by batting at Ashlight

After sinking her claws into Ashlight's eye, Willowsplash reached down and rammed her head into the she-cat's stomach, a move that would wind anyone. She would have to let go of Bramblewind.

Bramblewind:

I felt teeth loosen on my neck and I fell to the ground. I lifted myself up as much as I could and half ran/half crawled towards the camp "Tanglefur!" I called out weakly

She crouched down in front of Bramblewind. "Can you get on my back?" she asked, knowing it would be an easier method of transportation.

I weakly threw my front half over Willowsplash too tired to thank her.

With a great heave, she lifted Bramblewind's weight onto her back, staggering as she adjusted. By the time they arrived back at camp, she was covered in blood from his neck wound. She knew he wouldn't make it. "Tanglefur!" she cried out. "Tanglefur, it's Bramblewind!"
