"What?" She whispered to Burningleaf and Rowanscar. "Alright..." She walked up to him with her tail held athoritively. "Owlpaw, is it?" She sniffed him and touched his nose with hers but quickly backed up. "Okay, your fine!" She did a play bow and bounced around. "I've never had siblings before so me and you can be the best of friends!" She did a big dancing circle around Owlpaw and Rowanscar chuckled, "If you'd like to come with us." She looked intently at her. "We have foo-" Wrenkit looked at her quickly. "Food? I'm in!" She giggled.

"Owlpaw, why don't you show Wrenkit around the camp?" He purred as his two adopted children ran off together, looking at Rowanscar with a dopey smile. "Look at us, we already have such a lovely family."

"Thank starclan. I thought I wasn't ready for a-" She stopped mid-sentence realizing she hadn't explained her very first absence several days ago, maybe a week or two ago.

"Yeah! C'mon, new friend!" She bit his tail gently but playfully. "Let's go let's go!" Her stomach rumbled and she realized how hungry she was. "Erm... excuse me." She whispered embarresed. "Owlpaw," His mother called. "Go get her some food and then show her around." She laughed as she spoke because the both of her adopted children were messing around and being silly.

"Well... Redriver helped me encourage myself that I was doing the right thing, having kittens with you." Her stomach felt like it had butterflies. "I dunno, I just-" Rowanscar flinched. "Where are the medicine cats?" She muttered with gritted teeth, trying not to show she's in pain to worry her mate. Those butterflies started to turn into sharp pains.

Burningleaf looked around nervously. "I think all three of them are still out gathering herbs. What is it? I know some things from surviving on my own, is there anything I can do to help?" He grew frantically worried, a million thoughts running through his head. What if she's sick? What if she caught whatever Wolfstar had? What if she dies? What if...

She felt a soft paw settle inside her. She turned to her mate and still had a load of shock on her face. "I-I'm expecting soon." She whispered, considering she was dreaming.

She overheard and shrank away from Rowanscar. "Don't say that. That's what makes them sickly."

It took a moment for her words to break through the racing fears in Burningleaf's mind, but once they did, he turned to face her, completely stunned. "Did you just say..." His voice was as soft as his smile. He looked at Rowanscar as if she were the stars, but all of StarClan couldn't have made him as happy as he was right at that moment. His tail softly curled towards her stomach as excitement bubbled over. "We're going to have kits?" he whispered, scared not to be too loud in case he was dreaming, not daring to wake himself up if so.
