General Description: Natsumi is very small for her age, standing at only 4'10" and weighing in at around 85lbs. Her silky jet-black hair flows down to a little past her shoulders. She parts it on the left side, with side bangs framing her face. There are bright purple streaks in her hair, and the tips of her hair are tinged this odd shade aswell. She never pulls her hair up, EVER. She has odd eyes, the left is a really pale(almost white) blue, and the right is a deep green. She generally wears dark clothing to help blend in while hunting shadows, her preferred outfit is black jeans with two belts, crisscrossing each other across her waist(at each hip is one twin dagger), a dark graphic t-shirt, fingerless gloves that extend from a little below her elbows to her knuckles, and converse. The fingerless gloves hide scars that run up and down her forarms; a sore subject for Natsumi. Her butterfly tattoo is across her back, the ribbons from the butterfly run down the back of her arms.

Personality: Natsumi is a loud character. She likes to get under other people's skin and she's hostile when first meeting people, but once you befriend her, she's a loyal, compassionate, and trustworthy character; It's almost like she's a different person once she trusts you. She is very intelligent, but thinks things through in a different manner. When she is confidant in something, and someone challenges her, she will act in a belligerent manner, to the point where it is really obnoxious. If she's proved wrong(which almost never happens), there's no telling what she'll do. She's the kind of character that will surprise you in almost anything she does. Although she's a noisy goofball, she can be completely serious when the situation calls for it.
History: Natsumi lost her entire family to the shadows, and can't remember anything before age 10. She just remembers pretty much living at the Shadow Catcher's training unit. She was given the opportunity to live at her cousin Ayame's house, but she refused. She has heard rumors that she was taken by the shadows and rescued by the hunters, but since she can't remember anything, she suspects that they almost killed her. She has black hair, an almost sure sign of a shadow, so her theory would make sense. She started training at age 11, and she became an official shadow hunter at age 15. She graduated so quickly because she was a prodigy in the art of Shadow Catching. She's better with short range fighting than long distance, she's almost useless when it comes to long range. Her weapons of choice are two twin daggers. There are rubies in the hilts, and she always carries these daggers, so she has nothing to fear. She hates shadows because they killed her parents, but she has no desire to torture them. She has a fair heart, and can't find it in herself to make anyone/thing suffer more than necessary. She's always been guarding her true personality with the brave front, but she's really a deep, compassionate person on the inside. She has a bit of a reputation at the institute for thinking up a strategy for almost anything. Her IQ is really high, and she can simulate hundreds of possibilities for any strategy in her head in a matter of minutes. If something goes wrong on a mission, she can analyze the situation and devise a counter attack only moments after something has gone astray. For this ability, she is respected within the community of Catchers.
Other: She's blind in her blue(left) eye, which is a big vulnerability. Also,she's Aya's cousin. They argue often, as they are almost polar opposites.

Her wrists are always covered in a wide assortment of bracelets, and she wears a silver locket on her neck. She's got a bit of a reputation among the shadows, because of her nature. She's characterized by her light hair color. She doesn't like Natsumi, because she thinks that she's too soft when it comes to shadows.
History: Since she's a Shadow Catcher, you'd think she's distant from the 'regular' people. She's quite the 'people person' so to say, and connects with the people really well. People warm to her easily, as does she. People seem to trust her really easily as well. Due to this, she was popular as a child, and that didn't change when she joined the Catchers at age 7. She just became an official Catcher at age 16, and has been hunting them relentlessly ever since.
