Her eyes snapped open in a place that felt very familiar to her. The place that she called her dream realm. She hadn't been there since... since the night Ghostflight fell. She walked around, humming a sad melody to herself. She didn't know where the melody had come from, she just kept humming it. After some time she started saying words to the melody, not knowing where they came from either. "You taught me the courage, of stars, before you left. How light carries on, endlessly, even after death. With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite. How rare, and beautiful it is... to even exist. I couldn't help but ask for you to say it all again. I tried to write it down, but I could never find a pen. I'd give anything to hear... you say it one more time. That the universe was made just to be seen by my eyes." She'd shed a tear, "I couldn't help but ask! For you to say it all again. I tried to write it down, but I could never find a pen. "Hello, Burningleaf. Ive come here to tell you something. A couple of things, actually." Sagekit sat down. "Wolfstar is close to death. He's very sick. If any of Cloudclan wants to come join the Forest runners, I trust that you will give them a place to stay?" Without waiting for a reply, Sagekit began talking again. "Silentpaw...I think she is ready for her warrior name. She's been through a lot. And the last thing...Someone wanted to speak with you."

He looked at Sagekit, slightly confused. "What do you mean that Wolfstar is dying?" He couldn't think to say much else. "And of course, I'll welcome anyone from CloudClan to the Forest Runners. And Silentpaw may be ready for her full medicine cat name, yes. I'll name her once she's feeling better." He paused and looked to Sagekit. "Who wants to speak to me?" He looked to Rowanscar, wondering if she could hear.

Silentpaw sat in front of the pond, gazing at her reflection. She finished the last of the song, "With shortness of breath, I'll explain the infinite. How rare, and beautiful, it truly is... to exist..." The wind in her dream realm would blow some leaf-fall leaves onto the water, the red, orange, yellow, and brown, leaves adding some fiery-looking wings onto her reflection. She drew in a sharp breath, her eyes widening. "Rising from the ashes" she said to herself at last, which transcended into her talking in her sleep in the waking world.

He was confused as Sagekit left him next to Rowanscar again. He turned to her, saddened to have to tell her. "Rowanscar..." He looked her in the eyes, his blind eye fogging up even further with tears. "Wolfstar is...Wolfstar is dying."
