I've been itching to draw one of my characters in the same pose
as "The Fallen Angel", 1847 by Alexandre Cabanel
linked above is the piece of the painting I was inspired by!

I drew my fallen angel kalon, Evangelion.
painting skin isn't so bad when you have lights and shadows to reference from..
but when doing his hair I almost passed away lol
