The sweet and gentle she cat purred as she blinked blue eyes. The stubborn and wild dilute calico smiled as she looked at the little ones. She then looked to her crush. She nodded at him, then said “So...we both confessed to liking each other, but...Does that automatically make us mates, or...Does one of us have to ask the other?” she asked.

The mostly white calico kitten, whose eyes would be light blue and green, squeaked. He stopped nursing and fell asleep.

Yes. It would be appropriate for her to have a crush then since they would be of the same age group. Now I’m uncomfortable for anyone to confess to my characters about there crush to them before they both are of adult age, so if you could, maybe wait to do confessing with Tiny to Preston until they both are warriors that would be awesome.

I’ve always known you as Tiny and it just seems odd to call you something other than what I’ve known you by. It’s ok if your not fine with it. Heh, I get maybe it brings something of your past up that’s terrible, but I had to ask.”

Leoheart settled himself down next to her and said after he licked her cheek, “Me to my love.” He looked down at his mate with love and turned his gaze to the kits. He was a father now. Well... a step-father, but a father nonetheless. His mind raced: would he do good? Would he teach the kits well? Will he be able to protect them from harm? Would the kits love him even if he wasn’t there true father? He had Skyeyes to help him in the process of parenting these kits and Leoheart vowed to himself, I will do anything and everything for my family, even at the cost of my life. He sure hoped it wouldn’t come down to losing his life to save his family any time soon. He would if it did, but he loved them to much and would miss them dearly if he died even for them. He finally in a long time felt at peace as he laid there. For moons he had dreamed of this day with Skyeyes where they would lay together as mates with beautiful kits with them. He didn’t have to imagine anymore, it was happening. He thought, but what if it’s a dream and it isn’t real. What if it never happened? He pricked his pad with a claw and felt the prick meaning he was awake and it was real. No blood came out of his pad, but he did hold the wince in. It felt like fantasy, but it wasn’t. He almost couldn’t contain the meow of joy he wanted to let out, but he knew Skyeyes was tired from kitting and the kits weren’t all that old and needed to rest. He would do it on his own time when he is alone in the woods. Ya, that’s a more appropriate time. He said to Skyeyes in a soft voice, “Hey Skyeyes?”
