XXXArising from his nest was Hareleap, the golden tabby letting out a yawn as he did so. Ears twitching, the sounds from the camp beyond reached his ears, causing his whiskers to quiver with worry. Heโd overslept. He could tell by the constant sound of pawsteps passing the denโs entrance, the voices that carried on the slight breeze. They were beginning to tend to their daily duties and here he was just awaking from slumber. He couldnโt help but be thankful for not having an apprentice as of now, otherwise he wouldโve kept them waiting. And he hated doing such things, though someone could probably use his help while he was worrying about what could possibly be. Yes, of course. I should probably get going then. Scrambling out of the den, the tomโs wide green eyes flickered about the camp, seeing that patrols had already begun to gather. Well, Iโm too late for that. Thereโd be plenty to do in camp though, so it wouldnโt be too hard to find something else to do. Relaxing a bit, the golden tabby trotted away in hopes of stumbling upon something of interest, if all went well anyway.

XXXAmber eyes watched the clanโs activity like a hawk, narrowed though focused. With nothing much to do and few things of interesting happening, Locustsight would often spend her time merely watching the camp. Or at least, she seemed to be. While her gaze would suggest otherwise, sheโd often let her thoughts wander during these times, to entertain herself for the time being. Of course, sometimes this would lead her to be in a particularly sour mood, causing her clanmates to stray away from her if they could. The tabby absently pawed the ground with a paw, watching her clanmates chat with one another, some in particular were talking to their โmates.โ Oh how she despised that title. She believed no cat had a right to choose anotherโs mate, much less say one had to have a mate at all. In truth, she wanted nothing of such things. Thus she refused to call her โmateโ exactly that, she would go as far as not responding to one who referred to Riverclaw as such. She would never acknowledge him as such. These thoughts brought quite a distaste to her, causing her to wrinkle her nose. Deciding to take her mind off of what she couldnโt change for now, the tabby padded toward the apprentices den, pawsteps particularly heavy. โSheeppaw.โ She called into the den, whiskers twitching a bit. โYouโve slept in long enough. Apprentices should be carrying out their duties and youโre wasting time sleeping in. Weโve much to do today.โ While she didnโt yell, her voice carried quite well, so the young tom wouldnโt have a hard time hearing her. Of course, if he did, she had another way of waking him up.

XXXSkittering out of the apprentice den was Turtlepaw, amber eyes bright as she trotted along. A lovely day today was she noticed, forever bringing positivity in first, especially when starting oneโs day. The little tortoiseshell glanced about her, wondering where her mentor was as of now. Perhaps the molly wasnโt up yet, which she didnโt mind. She would never rush anyone, she didnโt like to be rushed after all. Ears twitching a bit, the tortoiseshell settled down besides the fresh-kill pile, overlooking the camp as she awaited something to do. Perhaps sheโd go speak to another warrior or one of her fellow denmates. So long as she wasnโt bothering them of course, sheโd hate to do that. Frankly, she hated to upset anyone in anyway, which sheโd hate herself for. Turtlepaw was one to please and it pained her if she did anything else but. Of course, one couldnโt please everyone apparently. But that didnโt mean it made things any easier. Sheโd do what she could and as much as she could, nothing less. Thatโd please everyone wouldnโt it? Surely it would.
