He glanced over at the cat Sageleap called Pollenflower. She must have died recently, he thought, not realizing she was a real cat. "It's good to see you as well, Sageleap." He curled his tail around his paws, trying to ignore Bramblewind. "With the help of Rowanscar, I have created a safe space for many cats, former clan members, rogues, and kittypets alike. We have created a community, of which we call the Forest Runners, who I will protect for all of my lives." He paused. "If StarClan will allow me to do so."

I wobbled forward from behind Sageleap “Hello Bramblewind” I smiled, still not fully understanding the tension between my brother and Burningleaf. Birdkit stepped out in between Sageleap’s two front legs and looked at the cats with his bright amber eyes

I giggled as the large tom reached out his paw, I batted him back with my paws as Birdkit still waited warily between Sageleap’s legs “Who are you?” I asked. I gestured to Bramblewind “That’s my brother”

He smiled. "My name is Burningleaf. I'm trying to ask StarClan to give me six more lives." He realized that he had just revealed to Bramblewind that he already had three lives. "What's your name?"
