I walked out of camp even though Wolfstar had said that only pairs could go out of camp. It’s not like anyone would notice. I wasn’t wanted anywhere. Unloved. Unwanted. Just like it had been when I was a kit. I walked off, paying no attention to where I was going. I walked and walked deeper into the forest almost as if I was under a trance, I couldn’t tell where I was going and I couldn’t care less

"Of course, Thorngaze. You're always welcome here." He turned to the new cats. "Ollie? Creekwish, is it?" The two cats seemed eager. "How would you two like to join us Forest Runners?"

"You want me to join you? OF COURSE!" Creekwish laughed and turned to Burningleaf. "Thank you! Ive always wanted to be part of a clan. Forest Runners. That sounds so cool! Whats your name?"

He smiled at Creekwish. "My name is Burningstar, but you may call me Burningleaf." He grinned at all of the cats surrounding him. Quickly, he jumped up into the twoleg structure that hovered a few fox lengths above them. "May all cats gather under the structure!" He couldn't think of any other name for it.
