Hi everyone! So, I've been having this idea floating around in my head for a while now and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in it? Please let me know if I should put this in a different forum! Thank you for looking!
Character Development
For character development, the arpg (which stands for art-role-playing-game in this case) would focus on a user responding to prompts to gain the specie's currency. Users would respond to prompts with different levels of effort, and could respond with art, writing, or a combination of both. In order to focus on character development and create an atmosphere of community, a user would only be able to adopt a limited amount of foundation dogs, which would gradually increase as the community grew and such. There will be no limit on the total number of dogs one can have, but the purpose of this arpg will be geared towards developing characters, not collecting as many as possible.
Realism
Although you will be able to develop your dogs as unrealistically as desired, and are even somewhat encouraged to, the arpg will have an aspect of realism. I'd like to have a title program with focuses on sports dalmatians are suited for, but there will be many to choose from as dalmatians are fairly versatile. Plus, this breed will be a dalmatian cross, which will bring in other skills from other breeds too. The program will have a large optional effort portion in order to help those who want to get their dogs titles faster, but there will be a non-effort option too so everyone can play.
You would only be able to own a few foundation dogs and although there wouldn't be a limit on how many dogs you could own from breedings, you would only be able to keep one or two puppies from each litter. With the emphasis of realism, each litter would have 1-6 puppies. You will only be able to keep one or two puppies, and there will be a 50/50 chance of either option. After the owners of the parents choose one or two puppies each, the others would go up for adoption. I haven't decided yet, but they will either be sold for the specie's currency or available for free or another option

This is kinda a lot of info, and not perfectly organized, so feel free to add suggestions/ask questions below! If this interests you at all, please post below! This post is just to see if enough people would be interested for this to be worthwhile! All of the above is going to be optional, you would still be able to participate in the species without participating any any other aspects. Thank you very much for looking! <3
Main Idea wrote:The plan would be to have a dalmatian/labrador retriever/other cross (so the dogs would have a basic dalmatian body type but a much wider amount of colors and patterns) with a huge focus on character development and semi-realism. If this sounds cool to you, please respond to this post to let me know! Below is a more in depth breakdown explaining all the aspects of it, though all of this may be changed.
