I assumed that the clan was fine and helped Tanglefur make her nest. I then heard my mother from the den entrance "If you're looking for the clan, they went out to save that she-cat, she was screaming in the forest. They were asking where you were." I looked at Tanglefur "I'm sorry, I have to go" I rushed out of the camp and followed the scents of my clanmates to where I found Sageleap's body. I gaped at the sight. If only I had been here and not with Tanglefur. I now understood why medicine cats weren't allowed to have mates in Treeclan. Tanglefur was a distraction from my duties. Maybe I shouldn't have a mate anymore. Cats are getting hurt because of my distraction
