New store pets are worth late 2010 rares, but this horse is just outside of being worth a store pet (typically the only newer very rares)

since the rarity of ur bee has changed from omgsr to vr, has demand gone down?

I do not believe that there has been any drastic change in the demand of the bee since the rarity has changed
if there is to be a long term shift as a result of this rarity update, it is likely too soon to tell ^^
there have been two successful trades with the bee shared since the 18th x, but there has been no new trades shared with the pet since the rarity itself was updated - I would recommend keeping an eye on the successful trades thread to see what users in the community have been able to trade the pet for now that the rarity has shifted

the dragoncat pps is a demand wildcard
by rarity, the pet is worth the same as any other 2014 store pet - 2 '09 rares // but the demand for the dragoncat pps has pushed the pet to trade for up to 2 MAs with relative consistency x x
there have been successful trades for the pet that are both below and above this 2 MA value - but any value in demand above the 2 '09 rares is up to trading users ^^

Anyway. My question:
Is there a value difference with true date pets and re-releases? I'm asking since someone just offered on one of my dogs thats from 2008 and asked to date swap, but they had added some common-uncommon pets as well since it's a date swap. Is this a common thing these days? I've been away for a while and am a bit lost with these sort of things..

technically there is no difference in value between a true date and a re-release - the only literal changes between the pets are the listed date of release and the pet ID number (the latter of which affects where the pet would sit in a group)
that being said, there are a number of people (particularly collectors) who are seeking date swaps for a number of reasons - though I believe the primary reason is to have the pets sit in order of original release in their respective groups
and to this end, some users are willing to offer some form of payment for date swaps - the willingness to pay for date swaps is similar to the willingness to pay more than the base value of the pet to make up for demand (it is not technically necessary but users may seek this out or be willing to offer it) ^^

the shima is worth 2-3 MA's alone or 21-28 '09 rares.
warriors get roughly 2-3 '09 rares each (the ones from '08 typically get a litter more, personally i value the '08 at 3-4)
10-14 warriors (it also depends on how you personally value them and what your trading partner values them at.) i would definitely get another opinion on this in case i did something wrong math wise.
