personality
mothcloud is a pacifist at heart, a quiet and reserved molly who sometimes comes off as rather cold.
she's typically spotted in the medicine den, sorting herbs to herself, and isn't one for socializing. if
she's outside of the medicine den, she's either going for a walk by herself, gathering herbs outside of
camp, or sitting in a clan meeting. mothcloud is kind deep down, but her intimidating appearance
tends to set a lot of the clan off from her warmer interior. truth be told, she's defensive. her cold,
reserved exterior is all a defense mechanism for her internal desire to feel protected by herself. she
doesn't like others to know everything about her, she's very private. there's very few that she really
lets in. if you're lucky enough to see her soft side, it's only because she trusts you, and that's quite a
compliment coming from her. mothcloud is a healer, she enjoys helping others, but she doesn't like
bringing emotion into it, mostly on her side. it's harder for her to feel safe while connecting with her
emotions, so she usually keeps it all to herself and bottles them in. her softer side is quite different.
mothcloud is nurturing and compassionate, kind and empathetic. she loves to listen rather than to
talk and her main concern is keeping those she loves happy and healthy. although she's sworn to her
duties as a medicine cat, secretly, she wants to have a mate and a family someday, although she
knows it's a long shot given the clan's code and her own guilty conscience. she throws herself into
her work, being the best medicine cat she can be, in order to distract herself from her secret desire
to be a mother and a lover.

history
mothcloud was the runt of her litter of four, born to a mother named fireflywing and a father named
wolfwhisker. her parents were tough on her, making sure that she would grow up just as strong and
smart as her siblings. it was clear from the beginning that she wasn't going to make the best warrior,
she would much rather pick flowers and count pebbles than play fight with her siblings. so, the
medicine cat at the time approached her and asked if she was interested in being his apprentice. his
name was swallowtail. mothkit happily accepted and became swallowtail's apprentice while her
siblings became warriors' apprentices. a few moons into her apprenticeship, tragedy struck. mothpaw's
mother became gravely ill and ended up dying because of it. mothpaw blamed herself for a long time,
but there was nothing anyone could've done. it was unavoidable, an incurable sickness. wolfwhisker
was assigned a new mate and went on to have another litter of kits with her, and the first litter of
mothpaw's half-siblings were born. at first, she resented them. she was internally angry at her father
for moving on so easily, she never saw him process his grief. he didn't seem as in love with his new
mate as he did with her mother, and she always felt like those two were so lucky for actually being
able to find love in a place like emberclan. however, those days were long gone. as time passed,
mothpaw grew and became a full medicine cat. her name became mothcloud, 'cloud' for her calm
and cool demeanor, like a cloud floating through the sky. she watched her half-siblings grow and
eventually, they connected for the first time. she formed a bond with her half-brother, tigergaze,
and when her father had another litter, she was there to be around for her half-sister, briarpaw,
as she grew up. reconnecting with her family made her happy inside, she felt good. it did make her
a bit sad to watch how happy having kits made wolfwhisker, as she realized that was a type of
happiness she would probably never have. so, she settled for being able to watch others relish in
the joy of their families, knowing there was a huge chance she'd never know what they felt.

appearance
mothcloud is a rather petite molly, being the runt of her litter, she never grew to full size. her fur
is a pale shade of golden-brown and she has darker brown stripes in a marble pattern on her body.
she has a white muzzle, tail tip, and mitts on her paws. her eyes are a soft shade of ghostly blue-
grey and she has a long coat. her tail is longer than normal and rather fluffy, giving her excellent
balance. she typically wears a wisteria vine draped around her left ear.

tigergaze is... wild, to say the least. he's an interesting character, a flirtatious young tom who seems
to know exactly what he wants and how to get it. in all honesty, he's not one for commitment unless
one fits his extremely specific standards. he's pretty blunt and to the point, and a bit impulsive as
well. tigergaze loves to have fun, his biggest vice is adrenaline. he loves to do things spontaneously,
and he's usually pretty active. he enjoys hunting and training. he doesn't exactly adore rules, and is
known to push them without actually breaking them. he's a huge flirt but when committed, he won't
stray. if someone manages to peak his interest, he devotes himself to them and the chase. he hasn't
shown much interest in having a family, he wants to live first. he isn't a fan of responsibilities or
obligations, but he'll do what he needs to. tigergaze simply likes to do his own thing. he's a loud cat,
when it comes to his voice, opinions, anything. he has a powerful, attention-drawing presence, when
he walks in, everyone knows he's there. he also has a rare kind of charm and is able to sweet-talk
himself out of trouble pretty often.

history
tigergaze was born to a mother named lilyfrond and a father named wolfwhisker. he was always
aware that his father had a mate before his mother, a molly named fireflywing, but she tragically
died before he was born. he spent his childhood learning from his father and trying to get closer to
his half-siblings, none of which showed much interest in him. as an apprentice, he trained his hardest.
tigerpaw absolutely loved training, it gave him so much joy and direction. he could channel all of his
emotions into it and give it his all, which became an outlet for him. his mentor was pretty hard on him
but it was all for the best, as he learned to become a strong warrior and a force to be reckoned with.
he got better with each passing day and became a warrior, earning the suffix 'gaze' for his piercing
amber eyes and great sense of sight. as a warrior, he eventually became a lot closer to his half-sister,
mothcloud, after spending time in the medicine den with a cold and having her nurse him back to
health. the two formed a bond, and when their little sister, briarpaw, was born, it brought them all
a lot closer. he's grown protective of briarpaw, always watching to make sure she's safe and alright.

appearance
tigergaze is a huge tom. he's muscular and broad-shouldered, as well as tall, and towers over most
of the other warriors. he has dark brown fur and black stripes covering his body, and his eyes are a
piercing shade of bright amber. tigergaze has a few scars covering his body from incidents while
training as an apprentice, one over his nose and a larger one on his chest.

leopardflame is a very contradicting character based on her mood. sometimes, she's a firecracker,
active, loud, and happy. others, she's more quiet and moody. she says it just depends on the
weather. she's ambiverted, neither social nor reclusive, and just sticks to those she deems to be
her friends. she's pretty strong-minded and opinionated at times, and definitely isn't afraid to
vocalize her thoughts. she knows how to avoid crossing boundaries and does keep some things to
herself, but if it wouldn't hurt someone else, she'll say it. leopardflame enjoys spending time
outdoors and with others. she likes hunting and swimming especially.

history
leopardflame has had a pretty average life. she was born to a couple named featherflight and
firefall. she was the firstborn out of four siblings and got into quite a bit of trouble as a kit and
even as an apprentice from just messing around and being stupid. she was average in training,
not putting too much effort into it but just enough to pass through. leopardpaw hit a block one
day when she realized she had feelings for a friend of hers. it was kind of rough for her, as she
was told her entire life that she would grow up and become mates with a tom. she had liked
toms before, but the way she felt about that molly was incomparable. her name was littlepaw,
and she was a beauty to behold. the two became warriors, leopardpaw becoming leopardflame
for her fiery personality, and littlepaw became littlefrog for her agility skills. the two were both
assigned mates, but leopardflame wasn't able to shake her feelings for littlefrog until she saw
her with her assigned mate and realized she was actually in love. it shook her to her core quite
a bit, but she got over it with time. she did realize one thing, though. she was definitely not
exclusively into toms, although she was afraid she'd never be able to express it or tell anyone
in fear of being judged. she didn't know if it was normal or not, no one ever told her who was
'right' or 'wrong' to love.

appearance
leopardflame is a tall, lanky short-furred golden bengal spotted tabby. she has a short but soft
coat and pale hazel eyes. she's known for her running skills and great balance, which she can
thank her long legs and tail for. her spots are a darker shade of brown than her light golden
undercoat.

waspwing is a cheerful fellow and a family kinda man. he loves spending time with those he cares
for and has always expressed a desire to have kits. he's well known for his kindness and compassion,
which he'll extend to anyone in need. although his name might make him sound like he stings, he's
all sugar and no spice. it's rare to see waspwing in a bad mood, he's almost always smiling. he loves
to make those around him laugh or smile at the very least, and will go to any lengths to make those
around him happy. he loves being able to teach and watch others grow and flourish, it brings him
great joy. he's always wanted a family of his own and hopes to have that someday soon.

history
waspwing was the middle child in a large litter, which made him receive the least attention from his
parents. he would always be stepped over or forgotten, and in order to cope with that, he became a
class clown type of deal. waspwing would always train his best, but he'd never do it without a smile
and a joke on the tip of his tongue. he became well-known for his agility skills as an apprentice, which
earned him his warrior suffix. so far, waspwing has been waiting for the right moment to settle down
and start a family, which has always been a goal of his own.

appearance
waspwing is an average-sized, fluffy ginger tabby tom with deep golden stripes and amber-brown eyes.
he has large paws and some of the younger cats often joke around about how the earth shakes each
time he takes a step. due to the size of his paws, waspwing tends to be rather clumsy when walking,
but when he's climbing or running, he never misses a beat.

briarpaw is definitely a flirt. she enjoys the freedom of being an apprentice and not fretting about
who her assigned mate is going to be just yet. although the thought lingers in the back of her head,
she doesn't like to worry about things until they happen. she likes to live in the moment and not
overthink about the future. briarpaw enjoys making others smile and definitely likes to make them
feel romantic. she has a special type of charisma and charm that makes others seem to hang on the
tip of her words. she knows how to grab attention and captivate others with her words alone, but
her looks tend to help quite a bit. briarpaw doesn't like hard work, she likes to do things that are
easy and fun. she doesn't like responsibility much either, but knows she has to accept it in order to
function within the clan. she simply wants to do her own thing and be her own person, but as she
gets older, she realizes that her window of freedom is slowly closing. briarpaw does want to have
kits and a family someday, but her focus at the moment is on her freedom.

history
briarpaw was the only kit in her litter and born in the second and last litter of lilyfrond and
wolfwhisker. she has a few older siblings and an older half-sister, mothcloud and tigergaze. she's
quite close to them, as her parents seem to be off in another world of their own half the time,
and she was practically raised by her siblings. sometimes she feels a bit suffocated by tigergaze's
overprotective shield always on her, but she always has mothcloud to vent to about it. briarpaw
loves her family, the ones she's close to, and values them quite a bit. in the future, she'll receive
the suffix 'pool' for her easy-going nature and fluidity.

appearance
briarpaw is a pretty young molly with a very light brown undercoat and dark brown stripes. her
muzzle, chest, underbelly, tail tip, and socks are white. her eyes are what captivates others the
most, as she has heterochromia. her left eye is a very light green, while her right eye is a pale
grey-blue. she's known for her beauty, elegance, and grace, but it doesn't stop her from being

bit out of reach to her. she was judged a lot throughout her life for not being 'normal' but those who
she keeps close to her accept her for her uniqueness and she loves them for it.

⊰ ✧ ── history : peachpaw was born a single kit, her mother dying shortly after she was born, she was given to another nursing queen to look after. having both her parents dead the molly was mostly brought up by her brother and her adoptive mother. her brother would sleep in the nursery every night curled up around the small frame of peachkit, not wanting to leave her side. perhaps his protectiveness has cuased her to be the shyer molly she is now but it is also him who is encouraging her to break out of her shell and be more confident in herself. as an apprentice she was originally given to a warrior, but when she was 9 moons, after almost 2 moons of constantly nagging the medicine cat to see if she needed help and given her photographic memory, mothcloud took peachpaw on as her apprentice.

⊰ ✧ ── personality long : mudpaw ... is the type of tom who wants to try and be a brotherly figure for many as he knows how it feels to lose a sibling and then be an only kit for some time. he loves to play with apprentices and kits, enjoying hearing them laugh and just forget for a bit how their freedom will soon be ripped form them. he is a tom with good humour, and enjoys a good laugh here and there. for someone his age he is actually rather a wise tom and likes to test his limits sometimes. a very patient feline this tom can quietly wait for any cat to finish talking, even the most irritating kit. this makes him well suited to being a mentor, something he is looking forward to being. rather calm, polite and still manages to be a comforting shoulder to cry on.

⊰ ✧ ── history : mudnose was born to irispetal and moosechaser who over their time of being assigned mates had actually grown rather affectionate for each other. they had gone from barely talking to never leaving each other side, best friends, partners in crime. not that they committed any crime for neither cat disobeyed the clans rules about assigned mates. mudnose was born with his brother eaglekit. nothing really happened until mudpaw was an apprentice. at the age of 8 moons mudpaw and eaglepaw were out hunting together, when a pack of wolves began to chase him and his brother across the territory. mudpaw was slightly faster than his brother and kept pushing him to go forward but the smaller tom struggled. the two quickly found themselves calling for help as they found themselves trapped between the wolves and a cliff edge. seeing a way down the cliff mudpaw nudged his brother who immediately started the dangerous journey down the cliff. a bark from a wolf above them frightened eaglepaw who lost his footing and sadly fell to his death, much to the dismay of mudpaw. out of the blue came his father who fought of the wolves but sustained multiple scars, eventually dying of infected wounds. in the course of just one moon mudpaw had lost his brother and his father. it overjoied him however to learn that his mother was expecting her second little with his now dead father. and so peachkit was born. though the young kits birth was hard and their mother passed away shortly after. peachpaw is mudnose's best friend and his world, he puts her above everything and protects her as if his life depends on it. making sure that he will not fail her as he failed their father and brother.

⊰ ✧ ── personality long : sheeppaw ...one of the first things someone notices about this tom is that hs is not the sharpest tool in the shed. however his pure curiosity and amazement about the world around him and his good natures makes him a rather well loved young apprentice, with many having a soft spot for him. he act's like a kit listening to an elders story most of the time, eyes wide in amazement, just enjoying life. its hard for him to see the negatives in such an amazing world. this being said he is also rather a gulliable and naive tom, quick to fall for any trick or believe anything someone has told him, for example if he couldnt see the sky and someone told him it was green, he would 100% believe them.

⊰ ✧ ── personality long : nightsong ... is known for her loving nature. she is a very gentle molly, who is kind to others. she understands what it is like to be in another's paw prints and wishes to name make things worse for others. it can be seen as selfless, but she sees it as just being a good cat. to be honest, this is what makes her happy in the end. she is also humble and won't ever be rocking what her mother gave her or boast about a great hunt. there is no point in making herself stand above all especially when the clan is supposed to work together as one. nightsong is level-headed and doesn’t just jump into situations. she is thoughtful in every step that she takes to make sure she doesn't make a mistake. with that she can be very stern and loyal. no cat is going to push this gentle soul around. no means no and she is not afraid to walk away from anything. that makes this she-cat independent. she knows how to do things and isn't afraid of going her own path to do them. when push comes to shove, nightsong can let some harsh words slip. everyone has a breaking point and nightsong doesn't like to get there either.

⊰ ✧ ── history : nightsong was born to shimmerstream and batwing. she was the type of kit who preferred to listen to stories from the elders or warriors that had come back from hunting/fighting. she seemed to have her head in the clouds when she was younger.⊰ ✧ ── ✧ ⊱ once nighttkit became nightpaw, the young she-cat set off to learn everything she could. now that she was a bit older her personality bloomed. she began to play with the other apprentices and acted like a normal apprentice. when nightpaw became nightsong. she had blossomed into quite a beautiful she-cat. everything seemed to be put into place as soon as she grew up.
