Tanglefur touched noses with Bramblewind. "It's okay, I don't need to be stuck in camp just yet," she said teasingly. "I still have a long while. Would you like to go hunting, you don't do that too often when you're in the medicine cat den." she asked him playfully.

“Sure, I am a little rusty though” No one had ever seen me hunt before, I was better than most of the warriors. I had trained myself in secret when I was a medicine cat apprentice since I had wanted to be a warrior. I spotted a rabbit and gestured for Tanglefur to stay back even though a rabbit is usually caught by two. I crept close and then pounced, missing the first time as it ran. I calculated exactly where it was going to be and cut it off, killing it quickly. I brought it back to Tanglefur, embarrassed. I had never shown anyone my hunting skills before
