She smiled at Silentpaw. "That's okay. It's more of an uncommon sickness, so much so that we don't even consider it one. Not all of her symptoms are typical, but I've seen it before." She turned to face Emberheart. "Emberheart, congratulations. You're expecting kits!"

"WHAT?" she yelled, a little too loudly. "I'm...what?" She couldn't wrap her head around it. She was a warrior! Meant to fight and catch prey and help the clan, not a queen! She didn't want to sit in the same den for six moons, hoping that she raised kits to be kind and not hate her, rather than being a failure. And Duskspirit...she'd have to tell him. "W-when am...when am I due?" she stuttered.

"Don't worry. I mean no harm toms- and Rowanscar." She pointed to a scar on her paw and pointed to one on her neck. "They hurt me too. I want to help you."

Skystrike smelled something peculiar, so she followed the scent trail, and discovered a clan. "Perfect." she said. She started to hunt some rabbits, not for herself though.
