"This is gonna sound weird but I told her I loved her and I kissed her but I should've never interfered with her duties and life, she wouldn't be gone if it weren't for me..." She trailed off guiltily.

She slowly approached the smooth surface of water. Fog surrounded her, making the daylight seem like dusk. She sat down and lazily gazed over the pool before laying and touching her nose to it. She instantly fell asleep with a feeling of falling, spiraling. She then found herself sitting in the cave where she had kissed Sageleap, where Thorngaze had asked to be her mate. Glowing eyes stared at her from all angles. She waited for an ancestor to speak first.
