"Hmph." And she stormed off out of pure hurt, not anger or jealousy. "C'mon Burningleaf. We got better things to do than waste our time with those raggedy rascals, we actually have a purpose."

She looked down, taking a step back. "I...I don't know what I want," she confessed. "But I don't want you to leave..." She took a breath and looked her in the eyes. "You're not going to leave. You and Thrushpaw have so much going on in the clan. I'm the one that messes things up." She sighed. "I forget meds and their uses, I've somehow manipulated two amazing she-cats into having feelings for me, I can barely communicate with StarClan." She gave Sageleap a quick lick on the forehead. "There are plenty of medicine cats right now. They won't miss me. Just tell me that you won't leave. Promise me."

He looked back at the cats one more time and followed Rowanscar, nervously wrapping his tail around hers.

She hugged her, "If that's what you want... then I promise. I don't care who you end up choosing or how much either of screw up I'll always be there for you. But. I want to leave, just for a short while. Consider it an expidition. But instead, you can come with and we can screw up and be dumb together...?" She asked uncertainly.

She closed her eyes. "I'll tell you what. I'm leaving by sunrise. If you can tie up all loose ends you have in the clan, including asking Thorngaze if she wants to go, then you can come." She hoped it wouldn't happen, it wouldn't work. The clan could lose one medicine cat out of five. They couldn't lose two warriors.
