She followed them and overheard, "No..." She whispered. She started to sob, she knew she wasn't the right cat for her. She ran off and climbed a tree nearby and cried. "Thorngaze..." She whispered longingly, "I wish I was you."

She wished she didn't have a heart so she wouldn't feel this horrible pain. "Why do I never learn? I should know love never works out for me!" She yowled a bit too loud tears rolling down her face and falling below her.

Ferret heard sobbing from the woods, so she went to investigate, and hopped from the fence, and raced over to see, and found Sageleap crying. " Hey, are you okay? "
