As Littlepaw brushed against her, she jumped, ever so slightly surprised. "Uh...yeah, I'm totally okay." She couldn't have lied worse than that, but it was all she could manage.

Lilywhisker rubbed her eyes with her paws and sat up, and walked outside of the Warriors den, ready to train her new apprentice. She called Silverpaw and he padded over to her. " What kind of training would you like today? Or should we tour around the territory? "

She shifted a bit. "Well, I don't know if I like her. I don't think I do...not now, at least." She thought of Sageleap, trying to imagine being with her. Her mind also shifted to Thorngaze, who she had known for longer, but doubted felt the way Sageleap did about her. She shook her head, fluffing out her fur. "Nevermind any of that," she stated derisively. "I need to focus on my duties as a medicine cat rather than wasting time on silly crushes." She wasn't entirely sure she believed that statement, but she left the conversation to count the herb stock anyways.

He sniffed yet again. "Be wary. There are cats nearby." The overwhelming unfamiliar smells drowned out the smell of Brokenwillow. He peered through the underbrush and gasped. "Who are you?"

She stared at the new cat, feeling his temper rising. "Burningleaf," she murmured, not entirely sure where she got the name but knowing that it was right. "I am Frozenleaf. The other cat you most likely smell is named Aspenstripe." She saw the tom losing his patience, and hoped that the other cats she smelled...no, she was wrong, there was only one other cat with him. How strange.

The tom smiled at Littlepaw as he went to the cat that was apparently his mentor. "I guess show me around the territory so I can get used to this." He wondered how these cats survived without any twolegs.

She growled protectively squaring up beside her mate, "This is ours and Brokenwillow's territory, you wouldn't want to mess with neither of us, ladies." She growled low in her throat, simply attempting to scare them away, in case they were intruders.
