Littlekit pushed himself up onto a large rock leading to a twoleg den. " What's this for? " Littlekit asked. " I think its to get in, but i'm not sure. " Bigkit sat puzzled. Littlekit's stomach grumbled. Bigkit seemed to hear it because she responded, " Littlekit, would you like me to know you how to get food? Twoleg food isnt the best but. . At least its food! "

He paced and paced by the entrance, hoping they'd bring his brother back soon...

She grabbed Thrushkit and licked him, hoping he'd calm down.

"Burningleaf! You fight like a kitten!" She yowled as she jumped into the fighting pile.

Thornpaw drifted off to sleep.

Ghostpaw|Burningleaf
"Haha, you wont get me!" Ghostpaw dodged the attack and leaped onto Burningleaf's back. "Buringleaf, you're....kinda like a dad to me...cause you know...I never met my real dad."

"Hey, dont worry! He's gonna be fine, I promise! Now lets play mossball!" Dapplekit pounced on the mossball, rolling into the nursery.

Littlekit
After SIlverkit and Bigkit showed him how, Littlekit jumped up onto the trashcan and pushed it open. He accidentally fell in with a yelp. Bigkit and Silverkit chuckled and pulled him up. " The trick is to balance on the rim, not the lid. " SIlverkit pulled up a roasted chicken leg out from the trashcan and threw it on the ground, it landed with a plop. " What's that? Its really big! " Littlekit gasped, it smelled like prey, but much tastier. " That is a chicken leg, it's similar to your birds you hunt, but much juicier and tastier, give it a try! " Silverkit explained, while Bigkit was already digging in. Littlekit tentatively prodded the leg and took a bite. " It's delicious! No wonder Twolegs are so big! " he licked his lips and chowed down.

"Is he with kittypets?" She seemed disturbed by the thought. Emberheart was always terrified that her mother was a kittypet, as she barely remembered her, so she always fought as hard as she could so nobody could accuse her of being weak. But if they were being nice to Littlekit, maybe they weren't all lazy cats?

As Rowanscar jumped into the play-fight, he dramatically collapsed to the ground as if she had taken him out. Then he wriggled out and gently knocked her over, putting one paw lightly on her chest. "Do I now?" he teased, licking her ear rather than biting it like he would instinctually do in a really battle.
He froze at Ghostpaw's words, stunned. Taking his paw off is Rowanscar, he turned to Ghostpaw and gingerly said, "Really?" He felt prideful. He wanted to talk about it more, but he heard Thornpaw calling him from the dream realm. "Thornpaw is waiting for us," he announced, and curled up with his nose touching a stone to go asleep and see the she-cat.

" You know, i've never felt so accepted before, you guy's are the bestest friend's I could ever have! " Littlekit yowled. He felt more happy than he ever did in the forest. " Thanks for the food! "

All of a sudden, Thornpaw arrived in the dark forest. I rushed over to her. "Oh my dear apprentice!" I licked her wounds "I thought you were gone. I'm so sorry for what Burningleaf did"

He smiled at his little sister's positivity, "Alright, alright. I'd love to!" He chased after her happily, "Be safe kits!" Sageleap called after them as she followed them, she wanted to make sure they were safe and doing what they are supposed to. "Do you mind if I join?" Sageleap asked as she caught up with them. "Sure!" Both Dapplekit and Thrushkit chorused. "That would be awesome!" Thrushkit jumped around and the game of moss ball turned into play fighting and pouncing on Sageleap and Dapplekit, of course, Sageleap was there to supervise.

Rowanscar

She sat up and scoffed playfully, "And ME?" She nudged Ghostpaw with her nose. "I was only trying to protect little Burningkit, he was such a mouse brain though!" And with that last sentence, she jumped onto both the males and they stayed laying down and looked at the red stars that shone in the dark sky. She nuzzled Burningleaf, "I think of you very highly, you know that right?" She murmured in his ear.

Suddenly he heard a growl come from Bigkit and Silverkit. He whirled around and saw Duskspirit and Emberheart. " Go away, leave Littlekit alone and get your own food you mangy cats! " Silverkit snarled. " Yeah! This chicken leg is ours! " Bigkit agreed
