Pollenpaw was going to head out of camp to look for herbs when she saw Willowpaw and Tanglefur. "How can I help?" she asked.

I walked back into camp to find my mate sprawled on the ground bleeding. "No! not you Tanglefur!" Willowpaw had already begun packing cobwebs into Tanglefur's wounds. I grabbed Burdock, Comfrey, Dock, Goldenrod, and Marigold. I started applying them to my mate's wounds and gave some to Pollenpaw so that she could help "did my mother do this to you?" I asked Tanglefur

"No, she saved me. It was burningleaf." she said. "You need to go get Thornpaw. He's by the shallow part of the river. I'm worried that he might have already gone to starclan..." she said.

She turned to look her mentor in the eyes. "I'll get Thornpaw, you take care of Tanglefur." She walked away before Bramblewind could argue. Once out of the camp, she opened her mouth to let in the scent of that unfamiliar cat, assuming that she ended up close to where Thornpaw was.

Burningleaf looked at his surroundings. "Rowanscar, my—" He stopped himself from finishing that sentence, choosing to limo over to her rather than give her possibly unwanted affections.

“She saved you?” I said confused. I let my apprentice go to find Thornpaw

Willowpaw ran along the scent line for a while before she found Thornpaw. She was still alive, but she definitely had damage to her. She knew she couldn't carry her all the way to the camp alone, so she pondered what to do for a moment.

Burningleaf was surprised by Rowanscar's hug. It hurt a little bit, yet he didn't reject it. He savored the moment, and it was almost enough to mask the pain he felt from his fight with Tanglefur. "Are you okay?" he asked quietly, not daring move away in fear that it would never happen again.

Yes. And you?” She asked near angry tears “She abandoned me for them...”

"She didn't abandon you," he said softly. "She just wanted to see her only biological family." He still was furious at Brokenwillow for acting out how she did, but found that he couldn't set aside his worry. He nuzzled Rowanscar's cheek. "I would never leave you like that," he murmured.

I found Thornpaw and shook him with my paw “you must wake up apprentice, you must get out of here and go home. They are waiting for you”
