"Everybody! Calm down! I will send Sageleap, Skunktail, Thornpaw, and Snaketooth to go check it out!"

She flinched back as another cry of pain tumbled around their camp, "Alright! LEt's go, everyone!"

Littlekit gently went in the nursery to see Koikit coughing, Lilywhisker was in panic . Littlekit gave Koikit the tansy and feverfew. " Do you think you could eat this?"

Blossomtail nodded and started licking the lavender into the kit's fur. Once she had finished she came over to the center of camp. "Would anyone like to also hold vigil for Sagekit?"

She went to go get herbs for Koikit, but Littlekit was already heading her way with a mouthful of them. She sat down, watching the small kit.

She felt Duskpaw nuzzle back, and she suddenly sat up straight, feeling a strong heat in her face. Embarrassed, she merely returned to looking at the water, trying to push the thoughts out of her mind while staring for a fish.

He growled, but Brokenwillow was right. If he were to lead them, he probably shouldn't have any distractions. But then again...No. He told himself that he would only pursue his feelings if Rowanscar showed any further signs of reciprocation.

"Oh Skunktail, you didnt fail them. We are going to get Juniperpaw back, okay? You're not a failure." She licked his ear. "Come on, lest go talk to Wolfstar. He can organize a patrol."

Thornpaw came back to Littlekit. "What was it that you wanted to tell me?"

The rouges finished the cover-up and began hunting. Their eyes shot around, protecting the den.

Juniperpaw opened his eyes to darkness and unfamiliar scents. He hurt all over, and could scent blood. "Hush! He's awake." Juniperpaw tried to move, but he couldent. He felt soil, and a sharp, unfamiliar glinting vines covering him. "Little one, don't try to move. You are now our kit." Juniperpaw opened his mouth to object, but it filled with soil. "I told you Sandywing, he'll never listen!" A paw rested on his head, pressing him down with unsheathed claws. Juniperpaw tried to escape to no avail. Cats moved around him, and flat, heavy stones covered him.

Koikit I Littlekit
Koikit started to eat the herbs. She couldn't eat it all at once but she ate them in small nibbles.

"Its going to have to wait." Thornpaw ran away with the patrol.
