He sat and crumbled on the ground not answering any questions he asked. "The fox attack... Tanglefur's injuries.... they were all connected to her, she did this." He choked out grief stricken.

Juniperpaw waited, then flicked his tail on Skunktail's nose. "I'll let you wake up more!" He bounded towards Deermeadow, beaming. "Skunktail is still sleepy, do you want to play mossball while we wait?" Juniperpaw didnt listen for a response, paws pounding to his den. Tugging a few scraps of moss he had shed earlier, he rolled them into a ball and tugged it out again. Throwing it into the air wirh his jaw, he aimed it at Deermeadow's tail.

Deermeadow hit it easily with her tail. She giggled. "Your pretty good apprentice!" She readyed herself for the mossball to be batted back. She knew what everyone said about playing with apprentices but it was so much fun. She nodded when the apprentice asked her to train with them.
