When the other fae asked about her parents, Nymira sighed softly and looked away. ” Well I knew that you would eventually ask. Your parents left you here, they abandoned you but for a good reason. They were being hunted down since they were the last of the pack from further east. The SunFang Pack. Your mom was a beautiful red color with the most amazing eyes. You look almost exactly like her. Your father unfortunately never returned. Your mother however did, as often as she could till she was killed. I could see the sadness in her eyes when she left you here.” she spoke softly, turning her head to glance at the young wolf.


She felt bad for telling her, but it was the least that Nymira could do. Meanwhile her son Kiri began to get ready for the hunt. He stood on a rock that he used to call for all the hunters. Sure enough, wolves started heading his way.

The sweet and gentle red but fiery and shy she wolf hummed a canine sound. She then moved her white tipped tail a bit. She heard the sigh, ears twitching to prove she had. “SunFang...” she muttered, what a pretty pack name. She then smiled hearing about her mother. She flattened her ears when told her dad never came back...She then nodded, and said “Thank you, for telling me. I, um...have something else to tell you,” she then said.

She could see the sadness in the young pup’s face and sighed softly. ”What is it that you have to tell me?” she asked her, tilting her head slightly. She was glad to have told Jessie about her parents, even if it was something that she wanted to know. Nymira could remember the night of when Jessie’s parents came by to drop off the small pup. It was a night that she would never forget. The look on their faces when they dropped her off, they obviously didn’t want to do it but they had no choice. Plus Nymira had her own pup Kiri to raise at the time.
