Where do these breeds come from? Both breeds originate from an area in England called Derbyshire. Within Derbyshire stands the Peak District National Park. Mountainous hills roughen up the terrain and vast fields lay beneath. Whilst only being a small area, both breeds have thrived and become the face of the National Park. In the 20th century, the ninth Duke of Rutland caught sight of these horses whilst restoring an English country house called Haddon Hall. Locals began to refer them as the 'Horses of Haddon' due to the fact they had often been seen by the Duke of Rutland around the perimeter of the hall. Beara Sport Horse
Average Height Range: 14.3-16hh
This breed is known for its athletic characteristics and willingness to work. Their long legs allow for fast, swift movements. They are said to be high-energy and can become quite sharp if put in inexperienced hands. Whilst all horses have their own personality, many have said this breed can be quite sensitive and requires a level of trust and patience to successfully work together. The Beara Sport Horse is competed in almost every discipline but succeeds most in endurance, cross country and racing. Despite this, their success in show jumping, dressage, barrel racing and roping cannot be ignored.
Mane-Tail Types: Long, Roached, Regular, TrimmedArdmore
Average Height Range: 16-18hh
The Ardmore is a sturdy breed with bulky, heavy legs and a strong build. Their mane and tail grows at a fast rate, but represents their breed and is rarely cut short. They are a much more hardy horse but do not have the speed and swiftness as the Beara Sport Horse. However, their kind eye and relaxed nature is hard to pass up on. Over the years, their success has come from weight pulling, driving and dressage. However, these horses are capable of jumping, but are officially capped at 80cm. They do not compete as well in cross country and racing as they simply do not have the speed compared to competing breeds but are often seen biting the bullet in non affiliated shows.
Mane-Tail Types: Long Wavy, Roached, Trimmed

You must have a storage thread with updated breeding slots. Ardmore drafts may only breed with other Ardmores and vice versa with Beara Sport Horses. Here are important and key things to take note of:
- Mares have 5 total breeding slots in their lifetime.
- Stallions have 7 total breeding slots in their lifetime.
- To breed with somebody else's horse, you need a screenshot showing that the other person has given permission.
- Foals will be aged up after two weeks.
Use this form with additional changes from artist/s on the Nursery page when an artist is open for breeding's
