The alpha female got to her feet and sniffed out the deer that her son had hunted down. Making her way over. She glanced over to see her son interacting with another wolf, let alone an omega. A soft smile formed on her face as she walked by to the food pile. Sure enough, there was a deer like Kiri said. Snatching a part of the leg, Nymira gave a bit of a tug before finally getting herself a good chunk of meet.



The fae scoffed down her piece and then continued to eat away at the same leg till she had her fill. Licking her lips from the leftover, she glanced at the wolves around her once more and eases herself underneath a tree by the stream. Lately she’s been having less energy and wanting to sleep more. Nymira wasn’t her usual harsh self, though sometimes a bit more irritable at times. She was proud to be becoming a mother again, though she isn’t that far along yet it feels like she is.

The male saw movement and noticed that it was his mother. He saw her make her way over to the food pile, and she went straight to the fresh killed deer. He smiled slightly towards hims mother and saw her tug away at a section. He also couldn’t help but notice that his mother was a bit more rounder than before, which made him a bit curious about it.



”I agree.” he said, returning his attention back to Jessie. If what he was thinking was true about his mom, it could definitely explain that she wasn’t her usual harsh self, let alone sometimes cold. But yet it’s seemed to have gone away ever since Warren came into the picture. Ever since she met Warren, her personality had changed slightly. She could still put any wolf back in their place real quick, but she was much more softer than before.

The short furred male sat as well, and continued to look around. His golden eyes took in everything, the wolves and the other sights. He then shook his head, and stood up. He stretched a bit, then shook out his brown fur. He smiled as he saw his step son with a she wolf his own age. He then followed his mate to the prey pile. “Deer,” he said, then laughed a bit and shook his head, taking some meat as well.

He hummed a canine sound as he ate it, then watched her eat more. He sniffed out a rabbit, and ate some of that as well. Well, he ate the whole thing, it was a very small rabbit. He then sat down beside her under the tree. He watched the rest of the pack, and hummed once more.

The sweet and gentle red but fiery and shy she wolf hummed a canine sound. She then moved her white tipped tail and white toed paws a bit. She smiled as she looked to the alphas again. She wondered if her parents had been that in love. All she remembered of them was one stormy night...They had brought the four month old to this pack, then disappeared.

She let out a tiny whimper, then shook her head and tried not to think about it. She looked up as he spoke to her again. She smiled and nodded as she said “I...I’m glad.” Her belly then rumbled, and she blushed a bit under the fur and shook her head.

Once she was able to relax, Nymira heard her mate made a comment about the deer and chuckled herself. It was a nice and beautiful day, it was spring time and the birds were returning from the winter. Many of the wolves around her were roaming around, waiting to see if anything urgent was needed. There was one particular wolf that Nymira wanted to speak to, Jason.


She wanted an update on the patrol and to know if any threats were of serious concern. The fae glanced over to her son and a warm smile formed on her maw as she watched him interact with a wolf his age and be social, like her. Well when she wanted to be really.

He chuckled when he heard her tummy rumble. ”Sounds like someone is hungry. Come on, let’s go get you something to eat.” he said and pushed himself up to his feet. He stretched out his frame and shook out his pelt, allowing the dirt and twigs to fall off. Kiri glanced over at Jessie and indicated for the female to follow him to the meat pile.

The short furred male sat as well, and yawned a bit. His golden eyes glanced to his mate when she too chuckled a bit. He glanced around again, and wondered if they should go talk to Jason. He tilted his head a bit, then looked to his mate.

He hummed a canine sound as he just kind of looked at her a moment. He then said “Hey, Nym...should we go talk to Jason? Or do you want to rest a bit longer?” he asked. He twitched his ears and nose a bit, and flicked his tail.

The sweet and gentle red but fiery and shy she wolf hummed a canine sound. She then moved her white tipped tail and white toed paws a bit. She nodded as she looked at him. She too stood and stretched, then shook out medium length fur. It was really easy for stuff to get caught in it...She hummed a canine sound as she then followed Kiri.

”Thats a nickname I haven’t heard in a while. But yes, we should both go and speak to Jason. I’ll be fine. I’ve got enough rest for now so don’t worry.” she spoke as she got to all fours and stretched. Not many know of her expecting puppies but soon enough they will once she grows in size. She was not that far along, maybe close to a month. She made her way over to where Jason was and cleared her throat. “Morning Jason. What is the update on the patrol?” she asked him.



Kiri led the way to the meat pile and grabbed a good chunk of deer for Jessie. “Here you go....” he said though it sounded muffled from the food in his mouth. The brute dropped the meat at her feet and nudged it towards her. He managed to grab some for himself and began to tear away at the meat.

The short furred male turned golden eyes to her, and smiled. “It’s a nice nickname, though, isn’t it?” he asked. He then walked with her to go to where Jason was. He dipped his head to him, then let his mate speak to the male.

Jason sat up bowing his head to his Alphas as they approached and He perks his ears listening to Nymia "Ah yes the patrol! All went well. Not a blade of grass was out of place. Though, there was one spot, it looked odd but I realized it was my sister's scent." he smirked "I'm about to go out again though." he said thoughtfully. He looked between the Alphas and waited for a response.

Having been up early to scout for food Opall smiles just enjoying her walk through the territory. The breeze blowing through her fur sending a relaxing calm about her. It was nice to not worry about loners or rogues, but it seemed too easy. Remembering when she and her brother were pups, they were loners with their mom. They joined this pack and Luna sacrificed herself to be Omega so she and Jason could prove themselves. She smiled at the memory of her father, Jax. He was a good wolf. She knows her mom wishes for a new mate but doesn't have high hopes. She sighed and continued walking.

Luna wakes and smiles. She's getting along in age but she doesn't mind. It's another reason she hose to be an Omega, so she doesn't have to risk injuring herself. She'll help in any way she's needed but she isn't too worried. She smiles seeing her son sitting in the sun and smiles at how proud she is of him. She stretched and heard her stomach grumble but pushed it aside.

Link scowls at the wolves around him. He hates that he was made and Omega. He wanted Alpha, but lost the fight.... He sits there seething. It's been a year since he was made an Omega and demoted from Fighter, but he couldn't let it go. Though he was thankful for his friend Jason. Jason has hopes of becoming Beta but wants to prove himself to the Alphas. Like he should. Link sighs and lays down, tired as he hasn't slept a wink the past week.

She chuckled at her mate’s words. ”Well of course. I haven’t heard it since I was a pup. My mom used to call me it all the time.” she told him with a smile. When the other brute responded, Nymira nodded her head. “That’s wonderful. I knew I could always count on you to get the job done. Way too good of a job Jason. Keep it up, and if you do, maybe you’ll get promoted to the rank you’ve been wanting for a year or so.” she told him with a grin.

He watched the fae eat and he admired her beauty from where he was. He stood there, finishing up his meal. Normally he wouldn’t admire females, since none really caught his attention. Not that he was picky, but because he wanted to wait till he found the “right one”. Kiri licked his lips and took a stance, giving his full height. The black pelt rippled as he moved into a protective stance.

She tilted her head as she looked to Kiri. Was he...being protective of her? She smiled a bit as she looked at the handsome male, admiring him a bit.

She smiled at her mate’s words and nodded her head. ”No one else would do a better job than you. Plus we both know how long you’ve been wanting that rank” she said, glancing at the other brute. She could remember the day when Jason first mentioned that he had wanted to become a beta, but Nymira had told him no. She felt bad, but at the same time it was for the best.


She wanted him to prove himself to be worthy of such a rank. And he has clearly proven himself over time. While most wanted to have the alpha rank, Nymira had made it quite clear that that was never going to happen. Unless something happened, but even then, her son Kiri would be next in line for alpha. Or one of the pups, but that wasn’t for some time.

He relaxed himself a bit and couldn’t help but overhear the conversation the alpha’s were having with another wolf. Jason was the name. He knew of the brute, talked to him a few times. Kiri knew that Jason took his role seriously and made sure to go out on patrol often. But seeing him as beta would be interesting for sure.
