Draco waited patiently by a tree waiting for Chiron's return with the Lieutenant Laika. He hummed quietly unsure of what to do.

Niji frowned as he watched his friend's retreating form. He hoped he found his dog. His frown deepend when he realized he was stuck with the donut.
He glanced at the donut and a random camper walking past. They stopped the camper, who glanced at his hair. "Happy birthday have a donut." Niji said tiredly shoving the donut at the camper.
The camper took it and walked to a gr and up of people who immediately started whispering.

'Great.' He thought.
Niji glanced inside the Apollo cabin; it was plum full of campers and Niji definitely needed medical attention, so he walked into the cabin and curled up in a corner falling asleep almost as soon as he sat down.

"You need to eat something." Set told Sa'd.

"Yeah I know. We'll get something in a moment. I want to see their reactions." Sa'd said absentmindedly.
How about a muffin?" Set asked innocently.

"Drop the muffin and the penguin thing or I swear." Sa'd growled.

"Fine, but we're getting lemon bread and cha-"

"And chocolate? Yes! Chocolate!" Sa'd covered up quickly.

Set rolled his eyes. "Why is the jackal here? I don't think it likes Sa'd." Set asked actually curious to why the creature was around.

"Yes, dear, I'm the problem not the fact that you are literally the epitome of chaos. Never that."

Set huffed and crossed his arms over his chest."No need to be rude like that." Set mumbled.

"I wasn't. I'm sorry But seriously no muffins."

Sa'd turned to Jane. "So, uh, you're hosting Anubis? How's that working out? What's he like?"

"Why do you want to know?" Set asked hurt in his voice.

"I don't mean anything by it, it's just that I want to know what kind of relationship they have. If he's more reserved or closer to how you act. If she can draw out more power, if they merge as fluid and effortlessly as we did last night. I haven't had a chance to ask anyone else in our Nome, so it's all very interesting. It's not like I'm going to host Jackal breath there."

Sa'd glanced over at Jane. "Not, not, not that therr's anything wrong with hosting him! It's just that hosting him wouldn't be a good fit for me." Sa'd yelled their facing being licked by the fire of a blush.

Set touched Sa'd's hair. "It's cute when you're embarrassed."

Sa'd's face grew darker as they covered their face.
"Please stop." They whispered.

as the scene in front of celeste began to escalate, she sat forward. it appeared that her presence had been noted - the general aura of the new face - lucy, if she recalled correctly - seemed to shift. it was impressive, in a way, but she had interrupted a conversation that was going rather nicely, and celeste couldn't say that she was best pleased about that.
still, she donned a smile, stood and walked around the table, taking a careful glance at mirabelle's quickly deteriorating form, and then turned her attentions to lucy. "i don't think we've met," she said, smooth. "my name is celeste. i just arrived, i was asking mirabelle about things. it's all very new to me." that wasn't a lie. "i'm sure that she has much to think about if she is preparing for something so gallant, but i would love to speak to you later. after i have eaten. there are grapefruits on the table that have been giving me a rather intense eye."

she guided a free hand to mira's shoulder, offering it a little brush - a short reminder of her presence. though unsure of the nature of the contention that seemed palpable enough to cut through, there was no waste in diffusing them. there was an energy of stress in the room. celeste imagined that at some point, she would understand why - but for now, her perceived duties lied in lessening them. all of this with a glimmering smile, a watchful gaze - perhaps this time was not so different to her own.

there were a lot of questions. he answered all of them, a plight to his vow of transparency. and when the reporters began to mutter amongst themselves, he took it as his cue to leave.

"is it true?" hicks asked as they slipped back into the car.
"did you believe me?" malcolm responded.
"yes," he frowned, as though the concept was strange. "i did."
"then that's all the evidence you need, dan." a glittering, false smile. "to the hotel."

when they returned to their respective rooms, malcolm turned on his phone - found a multitude of colourfully-worded texts, missed calls from various numbers. what mattered was the confirmation from lieutenant morris. they were surrounding the tunnel, and though the commander's text tone had been hesitant, it appeared that he had watched the conference - for his last message simply read: 'god bless, sir.'

it was as he was reading this that the telephone began to buzz. free as a bird now, malcolm picked it up, held the receiver to his ear. "steven!" he cheered. "did you see me on the telly? i didn't have anything in my teeth, did i? that would be humiliating."
"what the hell do you think you're doing, malc? what the hell was that?"
"oh, you sound annoyed," he said, feigning surprise. "why's that?"
"why's - wh - you just committed political suicide live on television. you - where did you even get that stuff from? demigods? have you gone off the deep end?"
"no. no, i don't think i did," he answered. "no, i think i did very well."
"you - malcolm, i - i don't - you have to go. the prime minister is angry. really, really angry. it's like you've forgotten your loyalties. is that what you're trying to do? stage a coupe d'etat?"
"steven," he said, drawling the name out. "don't flatter yourself into thinking that you can divine my motives or my actions."
"what the hell am i meant to do, malc? you've hung us out to dry with your - your theories,"
"what you're going to do is agree with me," noises of discontent came from the other end. "ah ah ah - think about it. really think about it. you've got two options here. agree, let me do what i want, or - or don't."
"well, i'll probably go with the second one. not much of an ultimatum, that."
"right. no, of course. but you understand, i've got things in place. the foreign secretary is prepared to step down at my signal, citing a 'weak, corrupt government, only salvageable by men like malcolm kingston'. there's an email that's waiting to be sent to every hack in every office in the united kingdom that details the donations that came from sweatshop-adjacent donors. evidence that your, my prime minister committed perjury by allowing his wife to claim that she was the one driving when he was caught speeding. and, you know, just for luck - assume i tell your wife about the list of nasty rumours spreading about you. what do you think would be better, an e-mail, a letter? a plane? i could get it trailed on the back of a plane! 'your reformed husband is still as much of a sleazy gammon as he always was'." he took a deep breath. "call my bluff, steven. i want you to see what the dominos will look like when they've all fallen."
the voice was quiet. "you're mad,"
"start writing your statement of support, stevie. you don't have much time," he grinned.
"you can't get away with this,"
"can't i? let's see, shall we? can i tell my button-presser that you've seen the light?"
"you've given me - you've given me nothing. you've given me no choice but to agree with your - your delusions."
"no, of course you have a choice," he said. "you can choose exactly how you say 'yes'. do it with a voice. have fun with it."
silence. "yes. in my own voice."
"when i come back, i'll buy us a good pint. we can talk about it. but - you know, i've got big things to get on with. tatty bye!"
he hung up and breathed a sigh of complete content.

Caleb Thomas|19|he/him|Athena|outside Cabin area|Tags:Emmie

Caleb nodded, he could understand not wanting to be around the other campers right now, the whole mood of camp was a bit depressing to say the least. “Fair enough,” He said in response to the french toast comment. “To each their own.” Then the conversation changed to the impending quest that seemed to be causing so much nervousness and unrest amongst the campers. “True, though you could be if you were forcing yourself to forget it in order to avoid it,” He countered, eyebrows raised dramatically.

He fell into step beside the younger girl, maybe she didn’t have any pertinent information, but people tended to come up with interesting things to say when you least expected it. “Right, I heard that. Don’t know how they tell the difference between prophetic dreams and regular ones. I’ve seen so much snow in the last day I doubt I could exist in my mind without this stuff around.” He said, half joking as he kicked at the snow while he walked. “Any idea what they’re going to do? I mean,” He chuckled humourlessly, gesturing around them. “How do you even stop this? Are they gonna go up to some angry deity and just...beat them up?” The girl probably had no more of an idea than he did, considering she wasn’t even part of the quest, but he asked anyways.

He fiddled with the ring on his finger nervously as he walked, spinning it around and around. It wasn’t long before the questers were supposed to leave off to who knows where, and then he’d be left the responsibility of head counsellor. Aiden had seemed quite confident that he deserved the position, though he could tell he’d been nervous, and he couldn’t say he blamed him. Caleb being in charge of anything but himself had never gone particularly well, and he wasn’t sure that this was going to be an outlying circumstance. He rubbed at his eyes tiredly, the weight of everything going on finally starting to get to him.

if only i could keep you in my pocket
to give me some diagnosis of why i'm so hollow
please give me instructions, i promise i'll follow
i tripped on my ankle and fractured my elbow
but doesn't that mean that the tour's gonna sell, though?
i try to explain the good faith that's been wasted
but after an hour, it sounds like complaining
wait, don't go away, can i lie here forever?
you say that i'm better, why don't i feel better?
the universe works in mysterious ways
but i'm starting to think it ain't working for me
doctor, should i be good, should i be good this year?

    ──── Aiden Seaver
    】| Athena Head Counselor | 15 | Male | ➡ Dining Pavilion | Tags: Wilhelm, Open
𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚕 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚝𝚜
Aiden was ecstatic to see Will again. "How long's it been?" The boy already knew the answer. "Three years." The past three summers had been bland ones without Will's company to liven them. Aiden instead spent them busying himself, doubling down on his training classes and, more recently, keeping his cabin together as its head counselor. Technically, Aiden was supposed to wait around for his cabin to make sure they made it to breakfast on time, but he'd become pretty familiar with his half-siblings' autonomy. Cres was up not long after he was, choosing to do a few morning warm-ups, while Caleb had begun to stir as Aiden left the cabin. He spotted the other camper making his way towards the dining pavilion, actually. "Man, I bet you've been so out of the loop." Aiden nudged him, heading towards the buffet and grabbing himself a plate. "There's a lot more that's happened besides me becoming a head counselor."

It may have been the same breakfast spread as always, but somehow it looked even more delicious this morning. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, hash browns, grits, toast, it was a breakfast galore. Best of all, it was some of the healthiest food around. The grains and proteins were complemented by a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and if you were really nice, sometimes the harpies would make you an omelet. Aiden was never quite nice enough, so he fished a golden drachma from his pocket. "A southwestern omelet, please." The harpy crowed something unpleasant and snatched the coin, getting to work on the requested omelet. In the meantime, Aiden loaded up his plate with sausage, hash browns, tomatoes, biscuits and gravy, and a few pancakes. They were pretty restrictive on the chocolate chips, so Aiden grabbed himself a single cup of the bittersweet cooking chips for his pancakes. The last item was the omelet, which he set on a plate on its own, before making his way to the Athena table. He stopped by to dump his biscuits into the fire before doing so.

Aiden seemed to have found his spark. That was good. When he first saw Aiden this morning, his eyes were dull, almost lifeless. Will knew the Athena camper was taking all this hard, as apparent by his short breakdown moments earlier. But he was here now, and he'd do what he could to make up for lost time. Aiden led him to the buffet spread, and Will paused to take it all in. "It's a buffet now?" He asked. Aiden looked at the table for a moment. "Oh, uh yeah. They changed this right after you left, actually." He rubbed the back of his neck. "It's all still just as healthy, but it's set up like this for some of the more picky campers. Anything that's leftover gets sacrificed to the gods." Will nodded, grabbing a plate for himself. "Why'd it get changed?" Aiden grabbed a muffin while he was waiting for his omelet and threw it. It went sailing across the mess hall and pegged Juliet right in the forehead. "She's why." Aiden turned around quickly to pretend it wasn't him. Juliet Pratten. He recognized her from the night before. As a Hermes kid, he wasn't surprised she was the one to cause the change. Wilhelm gathered his own spread of fruits and veggies, though he was rather partial to the selection of grits and biscuits. Afterward, followed Aiden to the fire to make his own sacrifice, but he diverged for the Hephaestus table after.

"Where are you going?" Will paused. "T' my table?" It didn't look as though table assignments had changed. Aiden rolled his eyes and grabbed Will by the arm, dragging him with to the Athena table. Will cast a look towards Mr. D; the god didn't seem to notice. "What 'bout Mr. D? He'll be none too happy campers 're minglin'." Aiden blew a raspberry. "Dionysus can suck it; if he comes over and whines like the wine god he is, I'll─" There was a pause, Aiden casting his own look to the wine god. "... if he says anything, just brush it off as you forgot." Aiden took a seat, remarkably deflated. "We lost one of the Dionysus campers in the Big House collapse." "I 'eard. Real shame there, Mr. D's taken it 'ard, I bet." The Athena head counselor nodded, but slowly their conversation diverged away from such topics and grew to be more lively as the two refreshed one another on how the past three years have gone.

Mira was reduced to a shuddering mess. Good. Lucy denied herself a smile for now. Instead, she looked rather crestfallen, reluctantly putting her coat back on. She was thankful for the warmth, but a little upset Mirabelle hadn't accepted her gift. At the sound of the newcomer's voice, Lucy perked up. "Oh!" She twirled back and forth, looking rather sheepish. "I didn't mean to interrupt your reunion, Mira. It's nice to meet you, Celeste! My name is Lucy." The daughter of Apollo grinned. "I'll be over at that table," she pointed. "with the rest of the Apollo cabin. And Mira," her voice seemed to lose all its fluff, swelling with concern. "Be safe out there, okay? I'd hate to see anyone else die." Her final farewell sounded the most genuine out of everything she'd said so far. Was it just as much of a lie as the rest? It was hard to say. Lucy had no bounce in her step this time, she just retrieved her plate from the table and moved over to the Apollo table, sitting with the rest of her siblings. There were notably less lively than usual, but Lucy didn't concern herself with trying to lighten the mood. If she saw Hank, however, she'd definitely try to ask him about what all happened the day before.

The horseman nodded, seeming content with the options presented. "I'm sure Xaliphax will be most comfortable in the training area. Just don't remove his tack; it makes him anxious." He instructed. "I left him outside for now. Call for him and take him to the stable, would you? As for Khione─" The mention of the snow goddess listening in on their conversation led Nicholas to cast out his senses in search of Khione, but he visibly jumped when she appeared so suddenly. "Khione!" He turned, swiftly brushing off his prior surprise. "There you are, my queen of diamonds." Nicholas tapped the foot of his cane once on the stone floor, waiting patiently for Vivienne to leave on his given task before informing the goddess of the news. "I'll assume your attack at Camp Half-Blood was a success because you're becoming quite popular on the grapevine. Attracting quite a bit of attention from the gods. Notably," He fished a smartphone out from his pocket. "Eris. I got a call from her─her courier, actually─last night, which expedited my arrival. And then there's also this." The horseman pulled up an article from CNN, where the name Malcolm Kingston was in the header. He then handed it to the snow goddess, thankful for the LifeProof case he had on it. Hopefully, that also meant god-proof. "Best I can tell, they've got their sights set on Camp Jupiter. He coined an offer to me, and by extension, you. A diversion of attention, he called it." he tapped his finger on the cane. "I didn't give him a name of who I was working with, but if you're interested I'll pass on the message."

||Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Celeste|

Mirabelle jumped a little bit at Celeste's gentle touch, but soon forced herself to calm down. She shot the older woman a grateful look, though she still seemed rather abashed. When the dreaded Lucy finally took her leave, she released a breath she hadn't even realised she'd been holding. "Um - sorry about that," she started, frantically trying to reassemble some semblance of her fractured dignity. Though she had turned back to Celeste, she couldn't quite bring herself to meet the woman's eyes. "I-I'm not really making a good first impression, am I? I'm not normally like this, it's just -" She stopped herself before she could continue rambling onwards. Deep breath. In for three, out for three. "Lucy might be kind and innocent on the outside, but she's not exactly what she seems. She can be... manipulative. Even ruthless." She unwittingly twisted a lock of golden hair around a well-manicured finger as she spoke.
"Anyway," Mirabelle sighed, eager to switch topics. "It's nice to meet you as well, Celeste. Though I do wish it was under better circumstances." She offered the stunning woman a sad smile. "In other news, I can confirm that the grapefruits are quite splendid - most of the food here is. The camp staff does an excellent job in meal preparation." She rose to her feet, albeit a little unsteadily - her heart was still pounding furiously from her previous interaction with Lucy. "I'll accompany you to the buffet table, if that's alright." Without waiting for a proper response, she turned to lead Celeste to the buffet. Anything to get her mind off of Lucy. "They used to have the dryads serve us all the time, but now we have the option to do it ourselves," Mirabelle explained as she walked. Her breathing had thankfully started to normalise, though it was still quite clear how much Lucy had actually shaken her up. "Some of the dryads were tired of answering everyone's beck and call, mainly because certain demigods -" her eyes flickered to Juliet at the Hermes table "- took advantage of their kind services. They started a peaceful protest outside the Big House a few years ago, and - oh." Her face fell slightly as the events of the former night hit her all over again. "Well, anyway, if you're kind to them, they’ll bring you pretty much anything you could want. So long as it’s relatively healthy, of course. They sell junk food at the camp store. Personally I would rather serve my own food than inconvenience someone else, but I’m not one to judge the actions of others. Unless those actions are directly harmful." Her voice darkened notably, and she unwittingly glanced at the Apollo table where Lucy was sitting with a posse of her siblings.

||Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Cass, Aggy|

"No, just... asking for a friend," Juliet supplied, albeit hastily. It wasn't a lie, perhaps, but not entirely the truth either. Despite how much she wanted to deny it, she still cared about Mirabelle a good deal. Not romantically - not anymore, at least. But once you share that bond with someone else, you never really stop caring about them. Thankfully, she was saved by responding when Aggy arrived at the Hermes table. She waved at her, but her mouth was once again full of pancakes so she neglected to greet her verbally. Instead, she listened to Cass talk, glad for the chance to eat more of her breakfast.

|||Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Laika|

"Like, uh, thanks, man - er, ma'am - uh, Lieutenant?" Chuck stammered, though he had eaten plenty of silverware in his day. It was nice of her to warn him, though... maybe she wasn't so bad after all? That didn't change the fact that she was still intimidating as Tartarus. "Oh - uh, cool, Mira's got an older sister now. Sounds pretty wango." His gaze flickered over to the Aphrodite table, where Mira was talking with the woman - Celeste, and - wait, was that Lucy? Since when had they been friends? Hadn't Mira even warned Chuck about her a few times? Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to Laika. "Uh, yeah, like, hi - um, I'm Chuck. Uh, nice to like, meet you in person?" The uncertain response came out more like a question than a statement.

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Mount Marcy Caverns|Tags: Nicholas|

Vivienne was fully prepared for her mother to object at being called Nick's 'Queen of Diamonds', but the goddess simply raised an eyebrow. She looked strangely pleased, Vivienne realised with a bit of a shock.
"Vivienne, if you would take care of Dr. Storm's... horse." Her coffee-brown eyes flickered seamlessly in her daughter's direction.
Vivienne simply nodded and turned to walk down the hallway. Though she was silently miffed at being ordered around like a servant, part of her was glad for the chance to escape the suffocating presence of the gods.
"Xaliphax." The word rang down the hall. She felt rather silly calling his name like that, but it was what Nicholas had said to do. "Come to me."
Meanwhile, Khione waited until Vivienne was out of earshot before turning back into the room where Nicholas had just come. "I see you possess one of those mortal... devices." Her tone was flat and disinterested, with notable disgust marking the words. "This revelation concerning the Roman demigods is acceptable, however. I had heard rumours of an attack against them through my sources." She paused, assessing the Horseman with a calculative gaze. "I would be most interested to converse with this... 'Malcolm Kingston'," she supplied, recalling the name on the screen. "I do wonder if he is in league with similar forces to I. There was talk of Eris joining the cause... I shall confer with my sources and see what I can learn of this new development. In the meantime, feel free to pass my name along. If that is all, I would like you to inform me of how the task of opening the Doors of Death goes. We would prefer that they be chained sooner than later. Of course, you'll have to remove that pesky death god." She spoke Thanatos' title as if referring to a particularly annoying insect that had evaded her godly flyswatter. Though she was a goddess herself, she did not dare speak his name aloud in case he were to tune into the conversation at hand. Better to keep their plans close to her chest than not.

Ophelia Rogers | 16 | She/her | Aphrodite/Cabin 10 | Location: Cabin 22--> Cabin 10 | tags: Aydan | mentions: Caleb, Emmie

Ophelia rolled her eyes at his proclaimation. He thinks he's beautiful, huh? She squinted at him, as if to shoot him down with a swift retort, but she couldn't find any. Hmmm, the princess might be right.

Then he was talking again, rambling on once more, and she lifted a hand. "Okay Aurora, but the royal guard has her own clothes to change." She said pulling a face when as glanced down at what she'd slept in. How did I sleep in jeans? She wondered, looking back at the boy. Oh yeah, he was right about the bedhead...I hope my hair doen't look like that. She resisted the urge to flick out her mirror and check. "I can see myself there." She said with a smile, turning to leave. That is, if I don't get hit with another wave of whatever that was. Everyone should be gone, I'll be fine.. She started out the door, but paused a moment to glance over her shoulder. "If Aurora still needs his royal guard, you can meet me at cabin ten in 5 minutes." She flashed him a smirk, then left, not bothering to wait for an answer.

She walked to her cabin at double-speed, not wanting to spend any more time than necessary in the cold air, gliding through the snow. There were campers out and about, namely one of the Zeus girls and the dark haired boy who fancied himself a son of Aphrodite. She let her face fall into a frown, glad that her style would make anyone's guess as to what cabin she should be coming from harder. Still, she walked faster, nearly falling over when her foot caught in a drift, but managing to keep herself upright and moving doggedly on.

She hopped up the steps and entered through the pink door, sighing in relief when she realized that Mira had sent everyone out to breakfast. Step one, all clear. She crossed to her bed, pulling out the various containers of clothes under her bed. Jeans...jeans...Khakis?... Ah, here we go! She pulled out the sweatpants, quite eager to swap out her stiff jeans and underleggings for something more comfy. She changed her pants, then took off her upper layers and threw on an orange turtleneck that she'd stolen fron her father. She paused and glanced in one of the prominent mirrors, taking in the reflection. The thing brought back memories, clinging to it like cigarette smoke. Pennsylvania, some little town, spring last year. The scent of burgers, burning. 'Now Ophelia, why do you want to stay so badly? It's just another town, why here?' His voice, solemn, waiting. 'It's not the place, it's just-' 'I have a job in New York next month. What job do I have here?' She blinked, then glanced back at the mirror. She tucked the sweater into her sweat pants, and pulled on her grey hoodie, then her jacket. New day, new memories. She gave her reflection a small smile. Even to her, it looked weak. She turned away. A few steps led her to the door.

It's been about 5 minutes...now where's that boy?

Aggy looked up at the older girl and nodded over her stack of pancakes. She could work out what to do with her over breakfast, for now, she was starving. She put her plate down and crushed in next to Juliet, who seemed to have the same idea as her with the pancakes. Great minds think alike! She mused, loading up a fork and shoving the sticky mass into her mouth. Mmmm, this was the right choice, She thought, enjoying the fluffy syrup vehicles with half lidded eyes.

Ahem, quest? She reminded herself, turning back to watch the other girl's and their converstion. She been hearing scraps of conversation about it all morning, and she didn't know what it meant, but from what she could glean, it sounded like a superpowered field trip. The idea was enticing, and she wanted to know more, like how to sign up.

Jack "Reese" Dawson | 17 | Hades/Cabin 13 | Location: Dining Pavilion--> woods | tags: Auggie | Ares NPCs

Reese's attention was drawn at another influx of campers, this time from the Hermes cabin. He streched, gazing out at the bright morning. How long did I doze off for? He wondered, glancing around blearily. They had to be at least halfway through breakfast now, what with the chaos that was the Hermes cabin all gathered. He glanced at his table and frowned. Since I have yet to be stabbed this morning, it can be concurred that Auggie has not eaten yet. It wasn't that Auggie was malicious...well, maybe it was that too. But she was never one for missing an opportunity to pull out her knives (which he had enough scars to attest to).

He scanned the pavilion once more for her signature purple, as if he was not already certain. When he could not find her, he wrapped some biscuits in a towel and set off to find her. Everyone likes biscuits, perhaps she will take them as a peace offering? He thought, hopeful. It wasn't likely, but he had gotten better at dodging her attacks over the years.

He strode up over to the arena, taking his time to enjoy the crunch of snow beneath his feet. The overnight chill had given it a hard crust, which his every step was now breaking through. He opened the door and went in, but while he did notice a few Ares kids that seemed to be training harder than ever, Auggie was no where to be seen. He waved to them when he caught their eye, and was faced with a surly grin, but the bulky Ares boy knew better than to tear apart someone who regularly patched him up, and went no further. Reese took this opportunity to turn and leave, this time wandering out by the forge. He peeked inside, but she wasn't among those there. Come on Augusta, where are you?

Reese closed his eyes to consider his options. She has to be somewhere. He told himself, running a mental checklist of places she could be. Cabin? No. Lake? Why. Arts and Crafts? Stop joking with me. It was then that he heard something, a faint thwack! Thwack! Coming from the woods. He opened his eyes and followed it

Soon enough he came upon his fun-sized sister, beating a tree with her kmives as though they were axes. His eyes caught on the blood trailing down her hands, and he sighed. "Ahem," He cleared his throat, well aware of the price for not making yourself known. I brought biscuits for you. I think they might even still be hot, if you eat them soon. Then I can use the towel to wrap your hands, give you some padding? He asked, standing a solid ten feet away in case she felt the need to take a swing.

Draco waited patiently by a tree waiting for Chiron's return with the Lieutenant Laika. He hummed quietly unsure of what to do.

Niji "Ji-Ji" Sakura Budōnoki • 17 • (he/they) • Homosexual • Dionysus • Location: Apollo Cabin• Tags: Open!, Random NPC

Sa'd "Lucky Charm" Salam•17•trans male (ftm)•Bi••they/them•Host of Set•Location: The Dining pavilion •Tags:Open! Jay River, Aphrodite table

Sa'd nodded. "That- that's interesting." They mumbled.
"Well it was nice to meet you, and to see you again Anubis, but this thing has to eat" Set told the host.

Set walked away and to the dining pavilion.

"Thank you. It was starting to get to me."

Set nodded. "Of course love."

Set walked to the buffet table before taking a plate and taking much, much more then what Sa'd could eat.

"Set I can't eat this much." Sa'd warned Set looking at the tower of waffles, pancakes, fruit, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns Set had placed on the plate.

Set moved to grab another hashbrown, but Sa'd stopped him.

"Set! I can't eat this much stop! It'll waste!"

Set shook his head and looked at whatelse he wanted on the plate.
"Set no."

Set hummed. "Set yes, you haven't ate anytime in the past two days. Yes, I noticed, so you're eating half of this. I'll eat whatever you don't."

"Set I can't eat a quarter of this." Sa'd sighed.

Set seperated from his host only to show them how weak they really were.

The small boy swayed and groaned their eyes half lidded and their lips parted slightly.

"See? You can hardly stand and I'm not sure if you could stand to be joined with me right now. So let's sit down and eat a little. Afterwards we can see if you're up to joining again."

Sa'd nodded and let Set lead them. Set gently picked Sa'd up not trusting them to walk by themself. Sa'd was almost rocked asleep by Set's long, rocking stride, but as soon as Sa'd was about to fall asleep Set stopped walking. Set had carried Sa'd to the Aphrodite table and sat him down at the end of the table.

"Mmm Set where are we?" Sa'd asked.

"Well, I'm not quite sure, but I think it's the Aphrodite table. Is that right?" Set asked someone.

Sa'd was too tired to open their eyes to see who it was, not that they knew who it was anyways.

Set gently shook Sa'd's arm waking the boy up further.

"Come on. You have to eat. Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey." Set cooed.

Sa'd looked up and stared at the plate. They looked up at the girl and gave her a 'how the heck am I going to eat all this' look.

"I didn't make the plate. The one who doesn't eat did." Sa'd told her.

Set grabbed the fork and stabbed a little bite of egg. He held it out to Sa'd and said "Open please I have a bite for you."

"I can eat b-" Sa'd started, but was cut off by Set putting the fork in their mouth gently as he could.

Sa'd sighed and ate the bite of egg. After he had swallowed he looked at the girl.
"See what I have to deal with?" Sa'd asked pushing another bite away from his mouth to talk.

"i'll be sure to come and chat to you later. perhaps you could show me around at some point?" celeste nodded, the smile still on her face. "have a lovely breakfast." waving the girl off, the smile melted immediately when she turned to look at mirabelle, searching for a sign that she was, as a matter of fact, alright. "it's fine," she said, watching lucy return to her table. that was a crisis that had been averted, she imagined.

"oh, don't. that's for the birds now," celeste waved off her self-conscious claims. "you have made an excellent first impression on me, bijou, it is her that may have to watch how she steps." the mentions of her being manipulative, ruthless - it was fascinating. they were words that had been used to describe her, herself, and yet in other people, those who did not know when to utilise it correctly, who did not know when it was inappropriate, it made celeste's skin crawl.
still. she appeared young. there was always time to learn.

"i'm not sure i recall circumstances better than these," she said, though it seemed a tad dire. if she had stayed out of one more poker game, if that strange woman had plucked her from the trance just a few years earlier, then it was possible that celeste could have had some semblance of serenity before everything - whatever everything was - began to tumble down once more. it was war in a different sense, she imagined. the invisible enemy. "that would be wonderful." she said, shaking herself out of her mental prison to walk over to the table. dryads - that was something she would have to figure out for herself, she imagined. "if they lean toward the occasional protest, then i am all for their rights. they sound good." there was pause in her breath after she said the words 'big house'. she had seen ruins on the way in - perhaps that was them. still, best not to mention it yet. it seemed a sore topic. "depends who they are harming,"

the spread looked like that of a king's. foods she didn't recognise, foods that she did - foods that she had not had since she was a child protected by the wealth of her found parents. it was, in essence, divine. the fruit bowls, the pastries - she had to keep her composure. a plate retrieved, she got her blessed fruit and surrounded it with the other treats she had so missed. "we were still on rationing when i left," she said almost absently. "this is incredible." gathering her wits and satisfied with her little smorgasbord, she turned back to err toward the bench. "are you going on a trip?" came the question, fuelled by lucy's outburst. "to do with the snow, i imagine?"
