(( I thought for the derby either Shakleford or Mucho Macho Man would win. But I secretly hoped Pants on Fire would...I paid absolutely no attention to Animal Kingdom. Talk about an underdog.))

"Well, what is it?" Brambletail asked quietly. "The not-blood stuff, I mean. And where'd the blood come from?"

"When i was running from camp i cut my paws on some thorns, and the not-blood was some..." she paused slightly "...deathberries" she whispered and refused to meet his gaze

((I wanted Mucho Macho Man to win cause 1. His name wants you to sing it, 2. His name is awsome, and 3. He is a reallly good racehorse.))

Forestheart kept following the scent until she saw the too figures of them. She crouched down into the ferns and watched.

blackfeather heard rustling, she perked her ears but kept silent.

"I'm not going to ask why." said Brambletail quickly. "But you need to get to Whitewater. Like, now. If some of the Deathberry juice got into the scratches, you're in trouble." Brambletail was catching on to what might have been happening, but didn't want to intrude. Blackfeather needed a medicine cat right now.

(( I liked Much Macho Man because he reminded me of my aunts horse, Bella. They are both pretty much the same color and they are both really big horses...number one is very true...well, i guess all of them are true...))

Blackfeather narrowed her eyes and looked away quickly. "Why?" she asked stubbornly

Forestheart shrank deeper into the ferns, grateful that her pelt color was what it was.

"Deathberry juice could be running through your veins as we speak!" cried Brambletail, frustrated. "You've got to get back to camp!"

Blackfeather pulled her lips back in a hiss of frustration. She reared up onto her back legs and then fell back onto all fours
