The short furred male yawned and opened his eyes, and huffed. His golden eyes looked to his beautiful mate a moment. The deeply brown male then nudged her a bit. “Wake up love,” the white toed male said to the she wolf, Nymira.

The sweet and gentle red female yawned and stretched out. She laid a moment longer, then sat up and blinked brown eyes. The fiery and shy she wolf then got up and stretched. She shook out medium length fur, then she flicked her white tipped tail. The kind and playful she wolf left the den. The white on her forehead and jaw stood out. The nervous and stubborn white toed she wolf looked around. She didn’t see many of the others out and about yet.

King stretched his paws out in front of himself before rolling onto his stomach and hoisting his weight up onto all fours. He shook, dirt flying off his pelt and skittering softly to the ground around him. He padded out of the den and did a small circle around the camp, eyeing every wolf that was awake and ducking his head in greeting to those whose eyes he met, including the young she-wolf Jessie that was also wandering around the camp. King thought to himself that a patrol should probably get started soon, as the sun was beginning to rise and allowing for just enough light for them to see by and check to make sure the area around the camp was quiet and devoid of threats. He made his way over to one of the rocks in the middle of camp that was used for sunning and sat down on it, getting comfortable and silently watching the sunrise as he waited for the other wolves to wake up and organize a patrol.

The far slept soundly all tucked up know a little ball. She grumbled when she felt someone nudge her, then say her name. Nymira opened one eye and glanced into the face of her mate, Warren. The far sighed softly before grumbling under her breath. Pushing herself up into a sitting position, she let out a yawn and scratched an itch that formed behind her ear. “Morning Warren....Why did you have to wake me up.....” Nymira asked him, giving him a look.

The tall dark pelt brute stretched out his frame and shook out his pelt. The sun was shining and it just seemed like it would be a good day. A beautiful one at that. The male sniffed the air and sighed softly as he took in the scents around him. Seeing that wolves were emerging from their dens, Kiri decided to go check on his mother Nymira and her mate Warren. Kiri referred the other male as alpha, mainly out of respect. Of course Warren was like a father to Kiri, he only felt it was polite to call him Alpha.


He trotted over to the alpha den and lowered his head in respect. “Morning mother, alpha Warren....” he spoke and nuzzled his mother. Nymira refit the gesture and licked the top of his head. “Morning my son....Any luck with hunting today?” she asked him. Kiri nodded his head and spoke, “Of course. A young deer, it should last us for a while.” hoping that it would be a good thing. Nymira smiled at her son and nodded her head before getting to all fours.

The short furred male said “We have to go tell the others what to do, don’t we? Well, I guess they could figure it out themselves.” His golden eyes looked to his step son then. He touched his nose to the male’s head, then stepped back and looked around.

The sweet and gentle red female saw King, and said hello. She watched him then walk around, or away or whatever. The fiery and shy she wolf shook out medium length fur, again. She then moved her white tipped tail and white toed paws a bit.

”Might as well go and greet the others.” she said, nuzzling Warren before stepping out of the den. The sunshine felt good along her pelt. Her son Kiri followed after. Nymira glanced around her and her yellow golden eyes watched all the wolves that emerged. Meanwhile her son Kiri trotted off to go and sit under a tree till he was needed. Nymira looked over at her mate with a soft smile and flicked her tail playfully at him.
