I think one of my trading partners is using me to test out a bizarre form of psychological warfare.

First, I made an offer on pets she put up. Then she told me some of them were already vouched for, so I reduced my offer but maintained my desire for the rest of the pets. She said 'no thank you'. I made a new offer. She didn't respond for two days. Then, I posted in her thread, asking if she had any intention of responding to me, since I didn't want to be left in the air. Then, she makes the trade, giving no indication that she has left out several pets that we had agreed on. I believe she was actually reading our message while creating the trade, since the pets are listed in the same order, save for the pets that she left out. I look up these pets, and notice that one dog I really wanted in particular is in a new group of hers (but definitely in HER group). I ask her why these pets weren't included. She completely cancels our trade, then makes a new one, leaving out the one dog I mentioned before. I look it up, and it's now owned by someone else.

Do people have good trading experiences?!

I've been trying to give her benefit of the doubt, but I'm pretty skeeved off.

ok there is one person who is driving me NUTS!!!

They are "hoarding" Green 08 3tails, malk cats, and PPS from this month. Soo.. they keep sending me MASS trade offers for ALL of those pets (and I have several of each!) . Not to mention they always try to slip in one very rare pet, such as the dark shima or an early 08, as if I wouldn't notice... Then on their side for like, 50 pets, they offer a couple sets of wings, or similar items. SOOOOO NOT FAIR.

i got a trade sent to me for a rare rat of mine with nothing on their side and i have rules, no pets for adoption so i edited it and put in a few pumpkins. they then edited it again and stated that i had a ton of the rats so i cancelled and told them that, that is no excuse for them to not read my rules. worst part they're not a newbie

Yeah, I've gotten trades from that same person ( I think ). They had a thread in the trades forum asking for a certain type of malk cat. I sent them a very reasonable offer, and they edited it to include ALL of the pets I have that they hoard (and I've got TONS of them.. took forever to load) and had like two cheap items on their side.. for over 50 pets. That makes me angry as well..

P.S. yeah, in the midst of all the common/uncommon hoard pets, they also tried to sneak in my joker bunny. NOT FUNNY

Someone sent me a trade a while ago asking for a toxic and a galaxy. They offered about 5 common hoard pets, and their message said something along the lines of, "plz accept! I've been looking for the toxic for a while and the galaxy would be going to a dreamer <3"

...Right.
Like I care who it's going to.
I'm still not trading it for hoard pets.

which is exactly why most of the time i don't help hoarders. dreamers, on the other hand, my fair trade rule still applies.

It was rather amusing, because yesterday someone sent me a trade offering the red advent lion and the rare green b-wolf for my uncommon malk wolf from January, saying that the malk was their dream and they'd do anything to get it.
I was like....
