I just found out that back in January, the pure white rat actually has two variants. One with red eyes and one with tan eyes. It's hardly noticeable, but there is a distinct difference, especially when you zoom in on the eyes.

It does have these listed as two different pets in the archives, that's the only reason why I know this. But most people probably don't because they haven't looked, so they're probably missing a January rat from their collections!

They're not pure white. o.O
They have both a cream colored head. And one of them has a cream colored belly and a bum patch.

I always knew there were two different rats because of the differences that Sorren Fey just listed, but I never noticed the eyes. xD
I've seen so many people with incomplete January rat collections. ^^"

Yayayayayay I'm not the only one who has noticed this <3 But they're tan...? I've always thought it was a faded red xD
I didn't notice the 'bum patch', but it sounds odd to me, so I cann it the 'bum shading'. xD
I didn't notice the belly difference either!
(I studied these rats when they grew up because half grew up on one day and the otjher half grew on the other, and I always wait until all of the 'set' is full grown beofre I name 'em xD)

Shima's yin yang dog (the first one to grow) glows around the edges. You can't tell unless you put it against a dark background, but it makes it cool and ghosty!

Oh man this thread is so enlightening. Also, I'm realizing I want half these pets. >_<


This one has a blue/white crosshatched area on it's shoulder (and flank) that kinda forms the shape of a globe. It immediately made me think of a corporate logo; at first I thought the AT&T globe but I just looked that up and I guess I remembered it wrong lol. ^_^;

The red and blue variations also make me think of the Robert Frost poem, Fire & Ice. I got all excited to do themed names but there aren't actually that many name ideas I can really get out of the poem. Ahaha I fail at life. XD
