⭒⭒⭒ ☾ the pale light of a crescent moon struck the grass along the moor like the dawn frost of leaf-bare. a small group of cats sulked through the heather, pausing at the top of a ridge to peer into the hollow below. with a flick of the leaders tail, two cats broke away from the group, heading directly towards a gorse tunnel, their voices raised in loud yowls. with a silent nod to the remaining cats, the leader slithered down the slope, belly pressed as closely to the ground as it could get, and began sniffing around the edges of different bushes until they pinpointed the nursery. "over here!" they called in a light whisper to the other cats spread out around the outside of the camp. thankful to the distraction being caused at the entrance of the gorse tunnel, they reached into the nursery with one paw and started to feel around. paw met the soft pelt of a kit and they hooked a claw in the kits scruff and dragged them through the bramble walls of the nursery. "here take this and get back to the meeting point" the leader mewed to one of the members of their group, just as the kit began making scared, soft squeaks. with a quick glance to see their follower bound over the top of the slope, the leader thrust a paw back into the nursery and began feeling around for another kit. soft fur met paw again as they located another kit still sleeping peacefully in their nest. they drew the second kit out and passed it to another one of the cats with them, a quick nod indicating for them to follow the same instructions as the last. the dying yowls of fighting near the entrance to camp told the leader they were running out of time and they weaved their paw through the brambles a final time to grab the last kit. pain seared through their arm as teeth clamped down on their paw, followed by a low growl, "i wont let you take my kits!" hissing they withdraw their paw and peered into the brambles. "too late flea-pelt" the rogue snarled back, a grin spreading across their face before turning tail and pelting back up the slope, leaving the turmoil in camp behind them. after what felt like a lifetime of running, the rogue stopped beneath the roots of a big oak tree, flopping onto the ground to catch their breath. a couple of heartbeats passed, the silence only broken by the distant hooting of an owl. three cats pushed their way through the undergrowth, two of them carrying tiny, mewling kits. the third cat dipped their head to the rogue leader, a triumphant glint in their eyes. "you did well." they mewed, drawing closer. "two kits will work well for my plan, though it is a shame you couldn't get the third." the rogue shook their head. "we ran out of time, that mouse-brained mother of theirs caught on to what was happening." a purr rumbled in the other cats throat as they took one of the kits lightly in their jaw. "oakclan is indebted to you." nodding to the other cat with the kit, they began to walk away. "i will be in touch soon." they called over their shoulder before disappearing into the undergrowth.

sunwhisker is an extremely loyal cat who, even though he hasnt been a warrior for too long, would lay down his life to protect his clan. he worked hard at his apprentice duties, often offering first to fetch moss or food for the elders. due to his size, he is clumsy when it comes to hunting, his big paws cracking twigs or his shoulders brushing against the undergrowth. on the plus side, his big frame and heavy body has helped him to become a formidable fighter using powerful strikes or crushing his opponent with his weight though he remains quite slow. sunwhisker is extremely energetic, often pestering the deputy asking if he can go out on extra patrols or do some training even after just getting back from doing something else.

Ivypaw has lived her whole life feeling like something is missing. Her mother has always told her
that she was the only kit of her litter but Ivypaw has fleeting memories of other kits in the nest
when she was a newborn. No one in the clan will discuss it with her but she has a strange feeling
that there is more to her story. Ivypaw has always been a curious molly and is known for her shy
and sweet nature. Ivypaw adores clan life and cannot wait to one day become a medicine cat and
make Furzeclan proud! The black and white molly can often be found sorting through herbs and
exploring the nearby woodland to find any supplies they may need, she always wants to help.

Ivypaw has a close relationship with her mother, x, she will do whatever she can to make her
mother proud and always makes sure to share all the details of her latest training with her
(whether she wants to hear it or not!) Though usually very mild-mannered and happy to get
along with any cat she comes across, Ivypaw can be somewhat hot-headed and has been known
to get into scrapes because she has reacted rashly to something that she doesn't like. She knows
that this is something that she will need to work on to become an even better medicine cat, she
feels like being a medicine cat is her calling in life and she can't wait to apply herself to it 100%!
Despite her commitment, she has always wanted a family so she will have to come to terms with this.

before the loss of his sister, darkfrost was a carefree and easy-goin
g character, a chipper tom with quite a passionate nature for his cl
an. a charming tom with an ambitious streak, he's known best for -
his cunning. however, as his mind is slowly becoming corrupt these
traits have changed. he's become sly, vengeful and manipulative, l
osing much of his sensitivity toward others. unlike some cats drive
n by their raging ambition, darkfrost is surprisingly patient and tho
ughtful, one to take his time preparing his next move. many have-
noticed that darkfrost has become quieter, perhaps a bit more secr
etive than he was before. surrounding himself in emotional barrier
s, its no surprise he's become rather cold toward the world itself w
ith a single focus on vengeance. the tom is untrusting and happens
to be rather judgmental when it comes to newcomers. however, t-
he tom is a master at keeping the raging flame inside of him conce
aled with a smile or laugh, doing so with ease. he knows how to m-
ake words work for him due to his persuasive nature and has gathe
red an alliance with the rogues, a step closer to ruling the land. xx

originating as a rogue, darkfrost and his siblings knew nothing about clan-life, besi
des the occasional stories from their mother, their father scarcely mentioned. life
was normal otherwise, until one of their mini adventures ended with his sister bei
ng injured. with the help of his brother, they managed to drag her half-way back -
home before stumbling upon their mother, faced against a oakclan patrol. the fam
ily was taken into the clan and were quick to reside there as tom's sister healed. a
fter becoming established with the clan, the tom grew used to clan-life, fond of it
even. however, while the three siblings seemed to settle in well, their mother re--
mained wary. it was clear of the reasoning why, an oakclan member seemed to de
pise the newcomers. the two had frequent arguments, though he could never dis--
cover the cause. time went on, though his mother and the strange warrior could n
ever seem to stand on stable ground with each other. little did the tom know that
he was about to discover why. about a moon after he and his siblings became war
riors, his sister - silvercloud - vanished. and so had the mysterious warrior. darkfr
ost wasted no time in searching for his beloved sister, alongside his brother moth-
eye. when they found her, silvercloud was lifeless and the warrior was nowhere t-
o be found. upon returning to the clan, darkfrost demanded they search for said-
warrior. to his horror, his mother was among those against it - believing that it w
as a lost cost, he was most likely dead anyway. despite the evidence he gave the
m, the clan wouldn't change their mind. not even his mother. he wishes to aveng
e his sister, but his rage has turned into a thirst for power and a dark soul. xxxxx

havenlight is a graceful, soft-spoken warrior of oakclan who is kno-
wn to be surprisingly determined for her general character. the mo
lly is known for her confidence and watchful eye, never one to jum
p into just anything, though is not one to shy away from just anyth-
ing either. while she might appear docile at first due to her obedie
nt nature, if one believes they can take advantage of this they'd b-
e sorely mistaken. havenlight is not one to use violence, but she w
ill use her words, though ever respectfully so. she's a humble chara

pecially since more often than not, someone helped aided her in h-

raised by two well-known warriors, havenlight was destined to follow in some par-
ticularly large pawsteps. her parents weren't easy on her nor her siblings, determi
ned to raise their litter in such a way, they would go down in history just as they h
oped to. being second to the runt, havenlight might've been small as a kit, though-
she was determined to prove to the world that nothing would hold her back. thoug
h perhaps, she shouldn't have pushed herself so far, maybe her parents were to bla
me. after all, she was young and many scolded her parents due to this, but they n-
eglected their clanmates worries. apprenticehood wasn't easy, not with a particula
rly strict and intense mentor who frequently overwhelmed her - not to mention he
r parents constantly watching over her and her siblings. she over did it more than-
once, though her growing skills were nothing to complain about. sometime later, a
patrol ran into a bit of trouble. haven was among them and ready to give it her all
even if it happened to be the one and only time - after the cats successfully drove
off the threat, haven was awarded her warrior name. havenlight now resides as a-
humble warrior of oakclan, glad to be among those of said rank. while sometimes-
she still tries too hard at some things, no one can deny her heart lies within the c

spice has quite the attitude, she's not easy to forget. once her ging
er pelt has graced one's eyes, you'll probably never forget such a m
emorable character. spice has quite the spicy attitude, hot-headed
and sharp-tongued she's easily flustered and rather irritable, makin

spice was born to a single mother and if that wasn't enough, she happened to be t
he runt as well. you can imagine the competition there was for their mother's aff-
ection and attention, sibling rivalry was a mere part of everyday life. overwhelme
d with her litter, the quite molly spice and her siblings called their mother hardly -
knew what to do to contain them, thus life was never too quiet. it was no surprise
the largest kits often overruled their siblings, truly the ones that made life hard f-
or everyone else. with their mother in such a state of mind she was unable to do -
much to aid them, it was every kit for themselves for the most part. this went on-
for moons, until spice and her sister had had enough and decided to take matters
into their own paws. being older, the two ran off together in search of a simpler l
ife, to get away from their troubles. though the two faced many dangers on their
journey, they were sure this life was better. but their paths would soon take the-
m separate ways. as spice and her sister grew older, they knew the odds were ag
ainst them, though both had very different ideas on how to solve this. spice beli-
eved simply strengthening themselves would be good enough, while her sister be
gged to differ, instead suggesting they join others. with the thoughts of her large
r siblings in the back of her mind, spice refused to join a clan - she didn't want t-
o be pushed around by those who were supposedly 'superior in rank.' the two dw-
elled on it for a night or two, before spice's sister announced her departure. spic
e was quick to join a group herself after a bad injury and has lived among the ro
gues since. she's not sure why, but she's not totally against staying among them..
