Duncan had launched himself at the lambie nearest him and was already regretting his decision. “Uhh Frenchie!? A little help!?” Frenchie was, at that moment, charging headlong at his best friend. “Duncs you dunce!!!!” He bellowed! Frenchie grabbed Duncan by the cherry stem and swung him onto his back, then spun on his heel and slid to a stop next to Rutherford. “Well now what do you want to do!?” He asked Duncan, surveying the lambies nearest him. At that moment, they both felt a chill wind... “Oh no...” whispered Duncan. “It found us...”
Wind-Watcher came slowly into view.}

Do you save Rutherford from his eternal doom? Or do you fight the lambicorns? Which
 side are you on? (i.e. Wind-Watcher or Rutherford)--

{ “Eternal doom!? Geeeez...” muttered Duncan to Frenchie, “That doesn’t sound too good.” “No...it doesn’t. We have to do something!!” As they watched however, some of the other lambies started to fight each other! “Dude what is happening!?” called Duncan over the crescendoing sound. “Uh I don’t know!! But we have to go help Rutherford now!” Frenchie swerved towards Rutherford and the Wind-Waker, with Duncan holding tightly to his horns.}

Prompt: Galla watched as the craziness died down in possibly the craziest possible way. What had just happened, exactly? She watched as the fire-fight went down between possibly the two most powerful mages she'd seen in her entire life. She glanced back at Po, who looked just as awe-struck as she did, and then at the chaos again. Well, life was full of surprises, that much was definitely still true. She felt that much as she watched the battle of two mobs turn into a one-on-one mage fight between the two lambicorns. As the fighting broke back out again, Galla stayed smack where she was, planted in front of Rutherford, staring at the chaos that was happening all around them. Miraculously, they'd almost been forgotten in the swell of chaos abounding everywhere else in sight. Galla, from her position, noticed the poor lambicorn crying out for help. She glanced back to Rutherford with a determined glow in her eyes, "Come with me. We have to save that lambicorn there-- stay close and we're going to be alright." And so the two charged back into the fray to save the poor lamb before it was too late!

Prompt: Galla and Po did their best to weave through the crowd, barely dodging a few attacks that singed at their fur and manes as they whizzed by, but somehow or another they made it thought. Galla felt her heart beating like bad against her ribs-- well she'd gotten her cardio in for the new year, definitely! They quickly formed a defensive posture around their new friend Sephora. Galla barely had time to register her new situation and get comfortable before the magic was drained from her very core. She noticed Rutherford's eyes fog a moment and was going to say something before the same dizzy, draining feeling leeched at her too, and it took all her remaining willpower to stay strong and on her feet. She watched Rutherford go down and she did her best to defend her new friends though all the same, though her ability to stand on her own feet was wobbly at best. She kept her eyes low as the blinding light of the Wind-Watcher's form rippled out along the sky, she could see its neon blue reflection sparkling along the snow line. She did her best to stay sturdy and strong-- she had to, for the sake of her friends. Just a little longer-- she had the sense this would be over soon if she could just hang in there.

Prompt: Right as Galla was about to be sucked into the deepest sleep of her life from having her magic drained away, a miracle occurred that Wintertide day. As a gold and white light overtook the cold, shivering blue, and the lambicorns began to rejoice, Galla felt as though she might be dreaming, as if she was on the very edge of sleep where dreams bleed into reality. Surely, that's what it was-- because what happened next was astonishing. Goddess Aurorae introduced herself and banished the Wind-watcher again, this time, hopefully, forever-- and a crowd that had been before all malice and conflict erupted into joyous cries and celebration. It was beyond surreal. It was as if this entire incident had been a bad dream Galla was just now waking up from. She rubbed her eyes with her paws and basked in the sunlight that was Goddess Aurorae's divine presence. Galla watched Rutherford's face light up when he looked on her, and she giggled to herself at the wonder, the admiration in his gaze. All was well again in the world. Galla watched as even the impish minions caught airborne gifts and danced and sang with everyone else, and all were merry and bright. As Aurorae departed and things settled down, Galla turned to her newfound companion one more time.

"I'm glad we met, Rutherford, though it was under a pretty wild set of circumstances," Galla said to him, offering a genuine, warm smile his way, "We'll have to meet again some time, when someone isn't out trying to get you! You are lovely conversation."

Then she looked up at the sky, still glittering with the ethereal shimmers of the Goddess, "And thank you, Goddess Aurorae!" Galla called to the heavenly clouds above, "We couldn't have done it without you! A merry wintertide to you as well!"

The whole thing felt surreal, even in the days that came after that fateful Wintertide night. A real miracle had occurred then, and Galla would forever feel honored that she got to see it with her own two eyes.

{ “I...I feel so....angry!” Frenchie stuttered. “What’s happening to me!?” “HEY snap lout of it!!!” Duncan yelled in his ear, and smacked him on the head. “Ouch! Hey! Wait, that helped! Do it again!” **Smack** “Ouch! Okay, I’m back, let’s help the others!” And off they went, smacking everyone on the head that they could reach. “Stop fighting everyone! Resist it! Come on, you can do it!” The lambies they had smacked in the head paused, looking confused and surprised, and some of them ran off to smack others on the head and stop the fighting.}

{ Frenchie froze, watching the strange and horrifying events unfold. “No...” he said in a quavering voice, “no, this can’t be right! How can they be stealing magic!?” Duncan looked sick. “How can we stop something like this?” “I...I don’t know,” said Frenchie, “but let’s get back to Rutherford.” Frenchie began trotting and quickly and quietly as he could around the perimeter, working his way back to Rutherford. When he got there, he stood in front of Rutherford, trying to block him and protect him, even though Frenchie himself was shaking. }

{ “Well that was the freakiest thing I’ve ever seen.” Duncan whispered in Frenchies ear. “Shhh!!” Frenchie hissed back, then more loudly he said, “Thank you goddess for stepping in! We really appreciate you coming to protect us! And if you’re ever in our neck of the woods, I can show you where to get the best ice cream! Also when I open my shop, you’ll have free ice creams for life!”
Frenchie turned to face Rutherford, and Duncan called out, “Hey man, listen, this was a pretty exciting Wintertide! But next time maybe you should just come to our place or something? We can drink cocoa and eat ice cream, and no one will get attacked.” }

The group stands behind ruthford and says sternly “leave ruthford alone!” She lashes her tail and glares at the wind watcher and says “leave him alone!” She growls and pins her ears.

The group helps the lambicorns and Seafoam says “come on you’ll be safe woth us” “really?” Piped up a smaller lambie Seafoam smiles and says “i know so” she flicks her tail and watches the wind watcher as the lambie gather be hind her and the group

The group looks around and Seafoam says “take the little ones over there” “got it” says candy. Seafoam watches the elder and says “well we should protect ruthford don’t ya think” the lambie nod and Seafoam says “charges!” The lambicorns take off to attack

Seafoam huffs and says “goodbye friend” she stands be side him and says “thanks ruthford for having my family over” she looks at vixen and runs to him and gives a giant nuzzle to her mate. The lambies watch and they all say “good bye Ruthford!”

Prompt:
Gura shook herself wordlessly and allowed her magic to flare brightly, snatching at one of the trio busy tormenting one lambicorn and shoving violently. A mad elder and a band of merry minions, just what she'd always wanted for Wintertide. The loud call startled the pink lambicorn, causing her to drop the minion she'd been messing with. Gura's gaze snapped round trying to find who had spoken but couldn't locate them due to the crowd of Lambicorns who had all stopped much like her.

Prompt:
Gura rolled her eyes with an accompanying irritated sigh.

"Why is it always tantrums with this one?!" She growled and with a quick nod in Sephora's direction threw herself in front of Rutherford, uncaring if Wind Watcher guzzled her magic. Pink eyes glaring up at the elder, she'd had more than enough of the elder's tantrums, she was forced to look away when the light show began. She preferred to keep her sight, ta very much.

"Stick with me mate, can't say I can stand up to an Elder but I'll damn well try" Gura offered, standing her ground in front of Rutherford.

Prompt:
"You legit just asked a goddess out. Rutherford, you are something else entirely" Gura told the other Lambicorn pushing up her mask to reveal a bemused expression. This was absolutely at number one on her list of weirdest wintertides ever, then again it was more than likely that it was the weirdest wintertide she'd ever experienced. "I uh, thank you. Despite all the weird rubbish with Wind Watcher and the appearance of Aurorae herself, this was the nicest Wintertide I've had in a long time. I'm glad to have been here!" Gura offers with a slightly sheepish smile

Prompt: Pistachio jumped into action, chittering his whole trot towards the imp so Jordan could follow the noise. He hopped at the imp, smashing a paw into their face, and knocking them down. Jordan barreled after, Pistachio moving out of the way and shouting a "Stomp, Jordan, Stomp!" The festive lambicorn listened, hopping up a bit and landing down on the imp to knock them out.

Prompt: Pistachio had ducked under the closest debris to hide, but Jordan had other plans. He could hear Rutherfords struggle and couldn't stand it. He did his best to charge towards him, before bumping into him. Jordan shook his head, then going to push him under the same debris that Pistachio had hid under. Once they got there, Jordan fell over, obviously exhausted from the lack of magic and pushing a whole other lambicorn, and passed out.

Prompt: Pistachio had slapped Jordan awake, now sitting together during the chaos. "Thank you so much for the party Rutherford. While it was VERY chaotic I've had the most fun i've had in months." Jordan presumably rolled his eyes under his hair, turning slightly to Pistachio. "Yeah, While it's been fun it's also been the most scares i've had in months. I think I''ll sit out the next Wintertide party." Pistachio laughed, patting his back. "And thank the goddess for protecting us, I don't know what would happen without her." Pistachio chimed in, laughing nervously.

Herrick stopped dead in his tracks as he watched the scene unfold. "Is - is that -?" It seemed too magical, even for someone who had studied magic and the occult for decades. Too unreal. Hurriedly, the bespectacled lambicorn took out a notepad and pen and began furiously taking notes on everything that was occurring around them.
"Herrick!" Sydney fumed over the din of battle. "Now is not the time to be taking notes!" Thankfully, she had found her glasses not too far from where she stood, though they now had a sizable crack in the lens.
Meanwhile, Dustin rushed to aid a few other lambies in defending the one lambicorn that had been backed into a corner by one of the imps. He rushed at the minion, snarling as menacingly as a doglike lambaby could.

Sydney quickly grabbed her brother and hid behind a crevice in the wall. Herrick was about to protest, but a sudden rush of blue light interrupted anything he might've said.
Dustin joined Gura, Frenchie, and some of the others in defending Rutherford to the best of his ability. Though aloof and generally anxious, no one could doubt the little lambicorn's loyalty.
Meanwhile, Tera peppered the crowd with bang snaps, though her supply was starting to run low. When the Wind-Watcher began changing form, she had to land to shield her eyes.

Each one of the four lambicorns shielded their eyes in one way or another. Tera raised a wing in front of her face, whereas Dustin simply squeezed his eyes shut. Sydney shielded her face with a sweater sleeve, slapping a paw over Herrick's eyes because the dolt was too awestruck to react.
When they deemed it safe to open their eyes again, Herrick immediately started taking notes. Sydney sat in stunned silence, blinking at her surroundings as if in a dream. She could hardly believe that all of this was real.
Tera immediately snatched one of the gifts that had been dropped, causing Dustin to jump a foot in the air as she hissed at him to defend her spoils.
When Herrick had finished writing his account, he graciously looked up to the sky, whispering a stammering "Th-thank you." From then on out, it was all business. The brown lambicorn flicked his tail as he approached Rutherford, uncomfortably joining the gathered crowd.
"Er - Mr. Po, sir, if you wouldn't mind at some point allowing me to interview you on the events that have taken place today?" Herrick inquired. "I would like to have it all down in my records, if at all possible, and your account would be invaluable to my research."

Prompt: “oh no” pepper says “what is it” slowly pepper started to listen,”I think the basement” she says with a fearful look. She started to shiver “I don’t like the dark” the green lamie admits “things always hide in the dark”. But after a minute she reluctantly decided to head towards the basement

: Do you escape with Rutherford, or do you stay with the Wind-Watcher? What happens to you?--

Prompt:
Fexutl and Kyoryu both had their reasons for walking out to the Wind-Watcher. For Fexutl it was his lack of fear and honest association with the winter, in a way it made him trust the Wind-Watcher more than Rutherford for some strange reason, though perhaps him being a bit of a monster helped. As for Kyroryu, he walked out because he trusted Fexutl, plus...the wind-watcher sounded a bit sad when they called out for the others to come out.

Do you continue looking for a way to escape, or do you go back to see if you can find Rutherford?:--

Prompt:
While Kyoryu in the situation would definitely want to look for Rutherford, he definitely knew better- if he did he might get in trouble and without Fexutl something bad might happen. If it was a physical threat he could handle it, but Fex was the more magical of the two. In addition, Fexutl was quick to drag him along in order to look for a way out with the others, and he didn't really have the voice to argue with him.

You hear Rutherford's call for help!! What do you do to save him?:--

Prompt:
Fexutl would look to Kyoryu, his eyebrows raising as if to say 'do we have to help?' Of course, Kyoryu would nod, and make him help in whatever way he could. In all honesty, they probably would find a group and find out what the leader of that group was doing, and if it was stupid, Fexutl would correct it. Also, if it had to deal with fighting those imps, then Kyoryu would definitely have four hooves to use as weapons in that regard.

Prompt:
Honestly, the situation kind of seemed like a really bad situation at a family gathering, which didn't sit well with Kyoryu, and with how many lambies were there, it just ended up being other lambies reacting more dramatically while Fexutl looked over to Kyoryu with a frown, sighing quietly and watching Kyoryu as he just started frowning, unable to look at the situation directly.

side are you on? (i.e. Wind-Watcher or Rutherford)--

"I mean, I don't know. Eternal doom might be fun to watch." Fexutl said, looking towards Kyoryu, who looked back at him with a slightly disappointed frown. "Well, letting that happen wouldn't be very nice." Fex would definitely not really have a side at this point, just sort of commenting on how this was the worst vacation he's ever had, and then begrudgingly helping out Rutherford. As for Kyoryu, he would try to fight as best he could, though who knows how good he would really do.

Kyoryu was already in the rush of battle, and would definitely go to save the lambicorn. Fexutl however...you could definitely see him making a small glass appear out of the air and swish around a nice drink watching the small amount of torment go on- it was kind of interesting, like a messed up art piece. Thankfully Kyoryu didn't see him do that, even if Fex was marking down ideas for the next time somebody crossed him.

Fexutl and Kyoryu both wouldn't hide in the situation, both because they're not cowards in that sort of way, and because both of them have a reason not to be afraid of the threat of magic being taken away. Fexutl's magic would probably do horrible things or at least catch an elder off guard if consumed, and Kyoryu didn't really have any significant magic to speak of already, he did have a little but definitely not enough to cause any real problems.

Fexutl didn't say anything, turning away to leave immediately and sighing to himself. Again, he would tell himself this was the worst vacation every- all the drama and all this chaos when he just wanted to have a nice time with his crush. Kyoryu would apologize for his behavior and simply thank them, though he had to admit that the adventure wasn't exactly the most welcome part of this experience, he definitely would have brought Fexutl to the art wall if he could go back in time.
