Nightheart was out hunting in the Northside of the territory. She was tracking a rabbit. She was glad the wind was blowing towards her so her scent wasn't going towards the rabbit.

Flarewind was sitting in a very shaded part of camp. He liked not being seen much so that is where he hid.

Morningwind sat in the cool evening air eating her fresh kill. She couldn’t help but glance over at Dewshade. He was so handsome. The best tom in the clan in her opinion. She quickly looked away as he looked up.

Bramblewind was up to the usual, a thorn in the paw there, a scratch here. He had just stocked up on herbs because the old ones had rotted. He was almost tired of being a medicine cat. But he couldn’t just abandon his clan. He looked at Thornkit and Leafkit and sighed. He had wanted kits ever since he was a kit himself, but apparently he was “meant to be a medicine cat” as his mentor had told him. He was about to go dump the rotted leaves out, when he heard wailing from the forest, the wailing of a kit. But it wasn’t a kit from this clan.

Flarewind got up and headed out of his shady spot. He went to get some fresh-kill from the pile. He went and grabbed a mouse before going back to his favorite shady spot.



Nightheart had caught the rabbit she was stalking and then collected the two mice she caught earlier. She went back to the camp having to step lightly over the slightly frozen river that was near the camp. "So glad the river is frozen" She muttered as she walked into camp.

Bramblewind could feel the wind racing past him as he ran into the forest where he had heard the cry. He was going to make sure the kit was okay.

Leafkit had gotten stuck on the ice of the river. He had snuck out of camp when no one was paying attention. He wished he hadn't ran out this time. Because he was afraid the ice would give out soon.

Dewshade padded into camp with mice and a vole. He set them in the fresh-kill pile and looked up at Nightheart. "Yeah, I saw Beepaw and Tigerstar heading over there. Too bad, they'll have to come all the way back." He laughed. "Im glad...I don't like fish!"

Beepaw and Tigerstar had gone to the river, only to find it frozen over. She hadn't been able to catch anything. Beepaw's tail drooped. "Im the worst hunter...I cant catch anything!"

Nightheart laughs has she sets down her kill. "The River being frozen is helpful for crossing though but I can not wait to get fish again I love it." She replied as she grabbed one of her mice to eat.

"No you are not horrible it is just a late freeze we can do nothing about that but you might still be able to catch some mice or voles." Tigerstar mewed licking the top of her head. She soon caught the scent of a mouse.
