I've never seen a swan in person, but I'm sure we do. We have herons thought and I NEVER want to get close to one of those monstrosities.
Also I'm arguing with my GF cause she said last night that if I didnt get to bed I would be banned from sweets and I want to see her try since we don't live together and I don't.think she can

@Superocelot-
you clearly want an angry girlfriend, good luck with that!
Herons are kinda dope though... I only really have an issue with ducks, as one of mine once choked down a whole goldfish from one of our ponds. A traumatic experience to observe.
@sammy, - I hope you don't have his next monologue all ready yet, cause Ophelia just shut down completely. No drachmas given.
@Orin and Ophelia situation- tell me why I cried writing some of these, just,,, ahshsbsj
I'm going to make another post for Hank soon, I swear! In the meantime, Chiron can hit up the med tent any time now... -Hazel has it covered!

Good morning!
Geese and swans in particular are ruthless! We've got many more geese than swans where I'm from, but I've had some rather interesting encounters with both. (don't tell Zeus, but I'm much more wary of swans than eagles lol)
Ever seen a golden retriever try to go after a flock of geese? Not a fun time XD
And this of course reminds me of Untitled Goose Game, where I revel in chaos and destruction
Plot twist - the main villain is just the Goose from Untitled Goose Game
ASGHDGFH Ophelia and Orin just <3 oof ouch my bones
I am in blissful agony reading them and it is beautiful

imma start working on a post, try to get a couple up before I go to work tonight.
@Witch Vivienne's reaction to meeting Nick was better than most people's, but "I just met Death and he served me french fries" sounds about like what I'd read in a PJO book
@sammy, I know I was expecting baggage, but man that's a lot of baggage lmao
I also must agree, birds are quite amoral as a whole. I once met an emu in a petting zoo when I was little and at the time I had a bunch of silly bandz (anyone remember those?) and the damn thing grabbed a mouthful in its beak and snapped them against my arm

@takara
i do not think he is gonna take well to sympathy you know . i thought it would end in tears but i think it might just end in him getting more angry frankly
@kveykva
he's real nonchalant about it too which i think makes it better . just dropping all these marbles on the floor like 'does that help? does it answer your question???'
swans are the worst of all creatures . why the queen would choose such a vile animal to protect is beyond me

@sammy,- that's fine, we said it would end in tears on at least one side, and it did! She's just...so far gone. Will probably just sit there and freeze on the porch after he leaves,
Edit: I don't know if I'd quite call it sympathy? More of tamping down issues to deal with the bigger ones at hand?? And some sorry-for-herself in there too, ending with the optimism that she tries so hard to fight, but doesn't have the energy right now

@takara I once had a chicken eat an earring out of my ear too. But funnily enough, birds are one of my favorite animals (part of why Nicholas is so against poultry--at least his reasoning behind it)
I took the time to read through the Orin Ophelia episode and... yeah. I'm definitely an Ophelia in this situation, I usually start crying whenever someone starts yelling--whether it's at me or not. These poor demigods have so much to address
Edit;; @sammy, yea it's actually pretty helpful lmao, just information overload
