"Come on, this way!" I trotted down a narrow path, which led into a clearing. In the clearing, there was a huge tree. Its branches twisted and tangled, twirled, and grew up the rocks around it. "Cool, isn't it?"

The red mare with the blaze and socks smiled at her son. She then looked to the new foals, and smiled at the family.

Dai- m- crush open, too young for mate- too young for foals- Foal- X x Daybreak- Danika (sister)- Tags: everyone

The red young with the white socks smiled back at his mother. He moved his wings a bit, then swished his tail.

The black filly with the blaze shook out her mane, and twitched dark gray wings. She went with the others, and flew.

Doctor- m- mate is Riversong- no foals yet, but soon- Over stallion- Willard x Dana- Wynona (sister)- Tags: everyone/ Riversong

The brown stallion smiled at his mate, as he stood beside her. Black wings moved some, and he said “Okay.” He then lifted off with them when they came back over.

"It's beautiful!" I looked up at the criss-crossing branches and then down to the roots which weaved through the stones on the ground."It's amazing!" And then I heard an all too familiar voice. I turned around to see Riversong, Doctor, and Danika staring at us. "Hello mother" I mumbled


Riversong: (tags: Doctor, Danika, Cloudracer, Quail)

We hovered over the forest looking for the lost foals. As lead mare and over-stallion of the herd, me and Doctor knew how to track. We flew down towards the ground to search for clues. There was hoof prints in the muddy parts (probably where they had decided to rest their wings a little bit) and when the hoof prints ended, we flew up to find broken branches in the trees. And sure enough, when we followed the broken branches, we found the two missing foals in front of a large tree. "What do you think you're doing! Wandering off like that!" I couldn't hold in my anger. "There is very dangerous creatures that live in this forest! You could have been hurt! What do you have to say for yourselves?!"

I heard the voices and turned slowly. "H-Hi..."
I hung my head in shame. "Its my fault...I-I just wanted to show Cloudracer the tree...We were gonna come back tho!"

I was going to apologize like Quail had, until I heard a noise behind me. Riversong, Doctor, and Danika all looked up behind me and Quail. "Run!" screamed Riversong. I looked behind me to see the twisted roots of the tree shooting out towards me and Quail. I felt teeth grab me and pull me just out of reach of the grabbing vines. It was Riversong. I looked back to see Doctor heading for Quail, but it was too late, the roots had snatched Quail and taken her down under the roots of the tree. "Quail!" I screamed to her but I doubt that she could hear me.

"It's not your fault my love" I said seeing the grief in Doctor's eyes as he kicked at the tree hoping to break through to Quail. "Nobody could have been fast enough to save her."

As Riversong screamed, I had an impulse to fly. But constructing vines wrapped around my body and wings, pulling me down beneath the roots. I screamed as the last bits of daylight were swallowed from my veiw.

As I opened my eyes, dirt snuffed all over my wings. I coughed and tried to call out. A searing pain jolted through my wing. "Ah! H-hello? Can anyone hear me? Please...anyone!"

"I can...and I am glad my tree brought something in..." The strange voice laughed. "Once you're in, my dear...there's NO way out. Youll be trapped here...FOREVER.
