She's been very... sheltered, in a way, up on that mountain for 5 years. Fried food, societal customs... it's gonna be an interesting ride. (I mean, the most human contact she's gotten apart from the battle was dealing with the confused hikers who decided to climb Mount Marcy lol)

I LOVE the angst, it hurts but is wonderful to read

Also unrelated question I’m not sure if anyone would know the answer to but if someone tried to iris message someone who died would that just not go through? Just asking out of curiosity...and the possible forming of a plan for future angst

i think the only similar scenario i can muster in my noggin is when percy got an iris message that he had to pay for that showed scenes of a person who’d died, so i imagine if someone attempted to send an iris message, died, and then the message was accepted, then it would go through?? idk if this helps but !!

@indigo.rain - YES honestly it makes for some funny content; especially with a stiff character like Vivienne who has like... no sense of humour to speak of lmao
I would tend to agree with sammy on this one; I think if their soul is still around (i.e. in the Underworld, floating around as a ghost, etc.) they might be able to make contact?

My thought process is that Auggie hasn’t spoken to her mother in the 5 years she’s been at camp...and you know in books/movies when a character contacts an estranged family member and they have apologies and a happy reunion? I was thinking what if that...didn’t happen

Anyways there is a lot going on right now so I’ll save that for another time *cue evil laughter*
