"Lets go!" I whispered loudly. "oops..."
As I trotted into the woods with Cloudracer, I turned to him. "Do you think the new foals are going to be fun? I remember when you were a foal. And you turned out plenty fun. But some foals are boring. Mom told me Rowan was a boring foal."
I laughed out loud.

I snorted at what Quail had said. “I can definitely picture Rowan being a boring foal.” I joked. “I hope they aren’t boring too.” I spotted the sun rising on the horizon. “Should we head back?”

As Daybreak brought the two newborn twin foals back to me and Rowan, she smiled at us and wished us good will. The black filly with red-tipped wings, we named Ruby and the brown colt with the green wings, we named Tree. “Aren’t they just perfect?” I asked Rowan.

Riversong:

Where are they? Cloudracer and Quail missed meeting the new foals. They said that they wanted to be the first ones to meet them. I wonder where they went.

The red mare with the blaze and socks smiled at her foals. She wondered where their father was, and what he was doing...again. She shook her head, then glanced to the others. They all seemed so happy, and she tried not to sigh.

The red colt with the white socks smiled back at his mother. He was still a foal, and would be considered one until one or two years old. Which he definitely wasn’t yet that age. Yes, definitely at two years old he’d stop being a foal, but still a colt.

The black filly with the blaze shook out her mane, and twitched dark gray wings. She squealed, and nipped at her brother. She then sighed as she saw the other foals were gone...She shook her head, and looked to her mother.

The brown stallion smiled at his mate, as he stood beside her. Black wings moved some, and he asked “Where’s Cloudracer?”

“I was wondering that too. Quail is also missing.” I replied. “Should we go out to look for them? I think Daybreak can help Goldendawn with her new foals.”

“Sure, she could use a wing stretch.” I went to tell Danika and she agreed to join us. “Let’s go” We all three lifted off and headed to the forest.

Cloudracer:

I wanted to go home. I wanted to see Danika. And the other pegasai of course. But I feel good when i’m around Danika. I miss her. Quail is okay too but she’s just a best friend. When i’m older, I want Danika to be more than a friend.
