@sammy,- not to plan everything out too much, but I'm like 90% sure that Ophelia doesn't know what to do with a crying person, so if he starts first,,, could lead to her bursting into tears too,,, idk, we'll have to see what they say/do!

Here’s a brief synopsis of what’s generally happening plot-wise - Mr. D appeared to the group at the mess hall and told everyone to go to the big house before disappearing again, med tent crew hasn’t heard yet - Juliet is gonna go tell them eventually when I get a post up lmao

Physical Description
Tall and lithe, Laika is imposing and has an air of leadership. Her brown, almost black, hair and piercing gray eyes along with her chiseled face makes men swoon, but she takes no interest. A dark and prominent scar twists down her neck, from her left ear and disappears under the collar of her clothes. (revealed source in rp). Laika usually wears a her Mountie uniform, along with pins of the Austrian and Canadian flag.

Personality & Background

Personality:
Laika lives up to her name, Krieger, which means ‘warrior’ in German. She is a brilliant strategist and always outwits her opponents. Like a politician, Laika has an air of authority and rightfully so. Eloquently spoken, many find it hard to win an argument with her. She has a sharp tongue, and experience with retorts. As a war veteran, she finds it hard to stay happ-go-lucky when things go wrong, as they would be fatal in war circumstances but result in mere scratches in the present day. Though her navigation is on point, her moral compass is in need of reconfiguring. Laika is a true Slytherin, willing to stop at nothing to get what she wants (though always in good interest), whether it be from deception to slaughter.

History:
Laika is of Austrian descent, and her maternal great-grandparents immigrated to Canada in the 1800s. She was born in 1923. A proud Canadian, Laika was reluctant to travel to Camp Jupiter when her late mother (died of cancer soon after) told her who her father was. However, she quickly rose up the ranks and became praetor, leading Camp Jupiter to glory. As she found her time to leave the camp to the next set of praetors, Laika went back to her home province, Quebec, and worked with the Royal Canadian Mountain Police as a Mountie officer (at that time the uniforms were still the traditional ones we know today; red coats and the hats). Laika and some other campers from Camp Jupiter enlisted in the Navy during WW2, fighting in key naval battles. Her most notable achievement was when she commanded Canadian forces during the war-long Battle of The Atlantic, working with Commonwealth fleets to blockade the German merchant ships, as well as deliver Britain essential supplies. She resided on and was commander of the HMS Puncher, a Royal Canadian Navy battleship. Laika landed with the Canadian forces on Juno beach, and partially escorted the Dutch royal family to Canada, as well played additional crucial parts in the aquatic front of the war. When the war had ended, Laika joined the hunters of Artemis and is now the lieutenant.
