Riversong:

Riversong woke to the warmth of the sun on her back. "Time to get moving" I told Goldendawn. She drowsily got up and groaned. "Come on," I encouraged her. "It will be dark again soon" "How soon" Goldendawn mumbled under her breath. I ignored her and started walking north like we had yesterday and the day before that and the day before that. I was determined to find pegasai that we could make a herd with.


Goldendawn:
As I glided silently beside Riversong, I wished that we had never left our old herd. But, I would stay with Riversong, however far she went. She said that we would be the first pegasai of Falconherd. Every time I had asked her where we were going, she had said "to the future" so I had stopped asking. Hopefully we would find somewhere to settle soon.

Riversong:

I had almost given up to settle down for the night when I saw it. Another Pegasus! Actually, it was three! A mother and two foals. Me and Goldendawn flew down to them to ask them to join Falconherd. They accepted and we later found that the mother's name was Daybreak and her two foals were Dai and Danika. Daybreak was also good at healing, so we named her our medicine mare.

The red mare had been startled when two others had come upon her. She glanced to the two young at her side. She accepted the invitation, and became the medicine mare. Now, she was resting with the two young ones.

Dai- m- crush open, too young for mate- too young for foals- Foal- X x Daybreak- Danika (sister)- Tags: everyone

The red foal with the white socks squealed at the strangers. He then went with them and his mom and sister, and now slept.

Danika- f- crush open, too young for mate- too young for foals- Foal- X x Daybreak- Dai (brother)- Tags: everyone

The black filly with the blaze shook out her mane, and twitched dark gray wings. She went with them as well, and now slept too.

Riversong:

It had been almost four moon cycles since me and Goldendawn had left our old herd. Our small herd of five had become six. We had found a handsome stallion named Doctor to join us. He is trustworthy and easy to talk to, so he agreed to be over-stallion and since I am the lead mare, he has become my mate and I couldn't be happier. And I wondered if he would want foals.

The red colt with the white socks smiled back at his mother. He was still a foal, and would be considered one until one or two years old.

The black filly with the blaze shook out her mane, and twitched dark gray wings. She squealed, and nipped at her brother.

Doctor- m- mate is Riversong- no foals yet, but soon- Over stallion- Willard x Dana- Wynona (sister)- Tags: everyone

The brown stallion smiled at his mate, as he stood beside her. Black wings moved some, and he wondered the same thing: did she want babies?

Riversong finally got up the nerve to ask Doctor about foals and he was overjoyed that she had been thinking the same thing. There would soon be a foal on the way. "What should we name the foal?" Riversong asked Doctor. Riversong had a few in mind. If it was a girl, Windchaser. And if it was a boy, Cloudracer. She told Doctor her ideas and waited for him to reply.

Riversong nuzzled next to her mate. So happy that they were going to have a foal. She felt bad for Goldendawn. Goldendawn hasn't found this happiness with anyone yet. She hoped that her friend would soon.

Today was the day! My foal was born! It was a dark brown colt with wings the color of the sunset. I named him Cloudracer, hoping that he would one day soar above the clouds; higher than any Pegasus had before. I turned to Doctor, "What do you think? Isn't he wonderful?"
