Hi! So, I had some questions about the crystals.
1. Do they glow in the dark? Even the "inert" crystals?
2. Can they do anything else besides enhancements of a wolf?
3. Does age effect the power of a wolf's ability?
4. Can the crystals be carved into certain shapes? (Moon/ Sun/ Star/ Etc..)?

Hey, I'm happy to answer:

1. Crystals only glow within underground caverns, though they are much brighter for the several minutes during initial attunement. Afterward, they only glow underground in proximity to other crystals.

2. Not really. Crystals grant the ability to make temporary "stepping stone" bridges and enhance abilities based on type, but that's about it.

3. Yes and no. Older wolves have likely received more training and have used their crystals for longer, so enhancements are naturally easier for them to take advantage of. A newly attuned older wolf without training, however, would have about the same skill level as an apprentice. It's the training that really counts.

4. Originally I would have said no, but this is a fantasy RP so logic can bend a little bit. If you'd like to add detail like crystal shape for characterization purposes, then by all means, go for it.



Also, I apologize for not having posted to respond to you on the RP thread. I don't want to leave the others out or give them too much to catch up on, so I'm trying to wait a little while. Honestly, we just need more people, but the roleplaying scene on CS has diminished a lot from what I can see.

Aah, I finally got my first post up, that took way too long. xD

I was totally listening to music while writing that, and I kinda with I could have included the link? But I was listening on Apple music, and I couldn't find it on YouTube to share with you guys. It adds so much atmosphere. :')

Anyway, yeah! I've noticed that too, there aren't really a ton of very active role-plays on here anymore. We could try inviting people, but it's been a while since I've been back, so I'm not sure who to extend any invitations to.

Do you have any ideas on how to get the word out? There used to be some RP advertisement boards, maybe I could see if those were still open?

RP ad boards are still up, but they're under the roleplay section still I believe so it might be hard to get people interested. I'll have to make a nice signature with a link and do some forum games or something to get this thing some exposure...

I did just look at the ad board, and they're not exceptionally active either. Now I'm just kinda curious... I know I've been gone a while, but jeez, what's everyone on here doing is it's not art and it's not roleplaying? Those were the two main things I recalled from last time! xD

Also! I may have figured out how to link the music in my first post! You guys'll have to let me know if it worked, because I might start adding music pretty often. 0v0

The art boards seem pretty decently active... I'm working on some sketches and stuff to redeem myself for all the garbage I posted in Oekaki during 2016.

I did see the linked music in the post, though, and listened to the sample. It was actually really nice! I listen to movie soundtracks mostly when I'm writing just to avoid having to compete with lyrics. Rainy ambience tracks tend to help me, too. Anyway, about the RP, I guess I should start working on a signature but ugH coding... As far as the thread goes, anyone is free to jostle Eban awake. I'll probably post for Terra soon and then go work on a signature, ugh

I posted this RP into my sig already. I figured since I do auctions and trade posts frequently, it might help! ^^ Simple sometimes is better, so I don't make funky sigs where too much is goin' on.
