react-y thing for posts

Postby qvril » Mon Dec 28, 2020 1:04 pm

ok so basically theres a little option beside a post that lets you
react w/ a emote or whatever, could be a heart, thumbs up,
thumbs down. i think this could prevent spam + it'd let people
know you saw their post etc etc. i could really use this for when
people reply to my oekaki drawings, just to let them know i've seen
and appreciated their message without having to write out a message !

tldr; feature that lets you react to a post with an emoji/emote (heart, thumbs up, etc)

i support, as long as you can disable users from doing it to your posts! since i know many users like to keep their posts very clean and clutter-free :)

as long as people can disable it if they'd like.

dappervolk has a similar function where you can leave hearts on user posts. it'd be interesting to see cs implement a similar feature!

I'd support this if it was something the thread/post author could disable, since I think reaction buttons could kill engagement on some posts where a discussion would be more beneficial.

hi, I'm snowdrake and I suffer from a chronic illness called endometriosis. endo only affects people born with a uterus and is a very painful disease. many people unknowingly suffer from endo and only find out once it gets bad, ultimately putting them through years of unneccessary suffering. if you'd like to learn more about endometriosis, what it is, how it affects people and what you can do about it please check out my endometriosis awareness giveaway!
