You push open the tiny shop's door, bells twinkling over your head as you step inside. Dust dances in the light that enters from the big windows behind you, the air smells like pages and ink.
Looking for the owner, your eyes travel over the bookshelves lining the walls, and you find yourself a bit distracted broswing the titles for something you're familiar with though you quickly realizy the titles are written in a script you cannot decipher.
"They are not from this world, Stranger," you hear a voice saying behind you.
You quickly stop your fingers trailing over the spines and spin around.
A catlike creature perches atop a typewriter sat on a desk in the middle of the room. Its fur is purple but for a golden star on its head and the tip of its lashing tail. Had it been there before? You'd have sworn the room was empty just half a minute ago.
"Just like you. And us," it continues, watching you with piercing golden eyes.
"I came here looking for a story," you say, unsure how else to react.
The creature inclines its head. "Very well. I will fetch the mistress. Meanwhile you might want to peruse the stories she has written for others like you and determine if her services may be to your liking."
It flicks its tail towards a few piles of loose papers laying beside the typewriter and this time you are absolutely certain they had not been there when you first saw the creature. When you look back to it you discover that it is gone.
Deciding not to question this shop and its inhabitants' strange magic, you pull out the chair from the table, sit, and begin to leaf through the stories.
Rules and important information:
- > A story like the examples down below costs 100 - 200C$ or pets of equal value. If you want something shorter or longer, I'll calculate based on your desired word count. Generally I take around 50C$ [or pets worth 50C$] per 250 words.
> I won't accept every request, though. I'll write for you if I have the feeling I can deliver something good. If your request doesn't inspire me to the point I can be sure you'll really like the result, I will decline. Tips are appreciated if you really like what I've written!
> I'll write about anything that's legal. For some topics we may need to switch to discord, and I might expect additional payment.
> I can probably write about every setting and every genre. I feel best about contemporary and fantasy, as those are the ones I read the most books about, but I'm willing to try anything.
> The length of my texts depends on the space I feel the words need. If you have specifications, though, feel free to let me know.
> I'm a university student and may have things to do and books to read. Sometimes I'm in a writing mood, sometimes I may not be. I'll try to get the stories to you in a timely manner, but if you're looking for a higher word count, it may take longer.
> Please provide me with a setting and inspiration or plot plus all the important information of all characters in the story or lore. Otherwise I'll probably just assume what I think works best and you'll have to read over it and tell me what to change, it's better for both of us if you tell me as much as you can beforehand.
> There's no set form, though I may try and find one for you to use in the future. For now, please make a character sheet yourself if possible, or list everything more or less orderly.
